Founded as Brigham Academy, the center has a rich history dating back to 1903. It has served various purposes, including a dance hub, roller skating rink, bowling alley, corporate offices for Thiokol Chemical Corporation and then it became the home of American Sportswear. This incredible dance hall is the birthplace of Ballet West and today it stands as the beautifully restored Brigham Academy Center.

The Grand Ballroom is a beautiful venue for any type of event including wedding ceremonies, luncheons/dinners, receptions, anniversary parties, corporate dinners, celebrations of life, etc. The venue offers flexibility with your timeline and food options. Welcome to The Hearth! The Hearth is Utah’s newest venue! This 1960’s historic building has been a home to many different owners. After finding it completely destroyed, windows broken, graffiti left and right, we saw great bones and couldn’t wait to make this special building into a place where people would start their futures together. We kept a lot of the vintage touches to the building while giving it a modern facelift.

With the original portion of the home being built in 1851, this venue is loaded with old time charm, a home-like feel and lots of great settings for photos! Included with every rental are indoor and outdoor spaces, lots of giant shade trees, cozy bridal and grooms suites, and every amenity to make sure your special day is a success.
