The Museum of Appalachia is an event venue situated on 60+ pastoral acres, surrounded by split rail fences, offering a captivating setting for your special day. We offer wedding packages that are perfect for ceremonies and receptions of any size. We offer outdoor and indoor wedding packages, as well as a combination of both. We offer a barn-style indoor reception hall with a full-prep kitchen, antique serving bars and a capacity to comfortably seat up to 200 guests. Our covered porch provides additional reception seating while still allowing guests to take in the tranquil view of the Museum’s Pioneer Village. Our outdoor ceremony spaces are vast in number and capable of accommodating a group of any size.

Our cozy Poarch Manor Venue sets on nine acres with a creek running through the middle. We have 3 sites for ceremony's to pick from. Enjoy seating around our swinging fire-pit or on the front porch. Our venue is a variety of Rustic, country & glam atmosphere all rolled in one. In 2015, James and Marissa Lowry hosted their wedding on the property. With over 400 guests and a beautiful ceremony under the Osage tree, an idea was brought to life. With hard work, dedication, and of course faith, James and Marissa sought to build a place where Family and Friends come to gather. Our modern barn provides the perfect reception space. Inside you will find beautifully placed round tables for guests and long wooden tables and chairs for the bridal party.

Chapel in the Hollow is a quaint, mini Smoky Mountain wedding chapel and is a family owned and operated business — by Ian and Chastidyi. You will speak with one of us each time you email or call, and we will do our best to make you feel at home in our little slice of heaven.
