We are a rustic, outdoor destination venue located on 15 private acres at the foot of Dirty Face Mountain, on the north side of Lake Wenatchee. The property is surrounded by trees, open meadows, the Cascades, historic buildings, and even a few Homestead animals. Shafer Baillie Mansion is a historic 14,000 sq foot mansion in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. It has hosted weddings of many sizes from very small to over 100, we now limit our capacity to 50 people indoors for a cocktail style reception. We can seat 35 people inside for a ceremony and sit down dinner or 50 outside in the courtyard. We offer our own catering services as well as a wedding officiant.

We are just four miles east of downtown Redmond and fifteen miles east of downtown Seattle. Within the forest is the Emerald Forest Theater, built-in 2018 by Treehouse Master Pete Nelson. The Theater is a one-of-a-kind outdoor climb-in movie theater made up of a large seating area 15' off the ground, four box seat open-air pods, two "Kodama zome" elevating loungers (tree-levators!), two stories of hammock-like dream nets high in the trees, and projection onto the 16' screen hanging in the trees. The forest of hemlocks, cedars, and fir trees within a gorgeous carpet of green moss is truly one of the most beautiful forests in the world (or so we have been told dozens of times!).
