Modern, Romantic and Fun – isn’t that what we want in all wedding photographers. We interviewed several wedding photographers to ensure we picked the right photographer for how we wanted to capture our love on such a special day. Within a couple minutes of talking with Cassia my fiancé and I both looked at each other with a look that was yup this is the one. Cassia spent time getting to know us and we were so happy to see her giving her time at a charity event we attended later in the year after we had booked her. This reconfirmed that she was the right pick. Leading up to the wedding Cassia was great with communication and preparing us for what to expect. On the day of the wedding it had been raining but you wouldn’t know it Cassia and her team were calm and ready to make our day happen regardless of weather. Cassia assured me we would still get the shots we had discussed and that we would creatively figure things out. We have about 20 pictures that she sent to hold us over until the rest are finished and oh my gosh they are so lovely. We have been getting tons of compliments on how she captured our love. Thank you Cassia for getting to know us so that you could capture the most intimate and personal moments as we start our married life together. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos – we are sooo excited! We highly recommend Cassia and her team of photography professionals!

I can't say enough good things about The Backyard on Thirteenth! We held our wedding reception there in April 2021, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. From the very beginning, owners Rus and Amy went above and beyond to help us prepare. Planning a wedding is always stressful, but we were doing so during COVID, which added a whole extra layer of complexity. We also lived about 4 hours away and hadn't even seen the space in person before booking. Rus and Amy's communication, flexibility, and genuine care made us feel completely confident in our decision. The venue itself was everything we wanted and more. It had a private, laid-back atmosphere that was exactly the vibe we were going for. It wasn't just a beautiful space; it also offered fantastic beer and wine! Since our wedding, we've returned to The Backyard on Thirteenth for other events, and it truly feels like a home away from home. It's a special place, and we're so grateful to Rus and Amy for making our wedding reception so unforgettable. My husband and I renewed our wedding vows at this elegant venue. The staff was responsive and diligent to our needs and worked well with the vendors we enlisted making the event simple to execute. The grounds are exceptional with breathtaking views from the rear of the house across the Paso wine country. There was a lovely morning fog that burned off by 10AM and then crystal clear sunlight. Eagle Oak Ranch made our day perfect for the rest of our lives together.

Candice and her team were a pleasure to work with. She was professional, kind, and above all very adaptive. We had to pivot/switch up a few details due to weather on our wedding day and I was SO relieved by Candice’s ability to make quick, smart decisions without ever making me feel overwhelmed or stressed on the day of. This was essential as not everything can go as planned on your wedding day but I never knew about any of it and she worked fervently behind the scenes to keep it that way. As a hands on bride with a strong vision, I was comforted by how on top of everything Candice was. Weddings have been a part of my life since I was six years old. Growing up as the youngest of eight cousins, someone was always getting married. The summer of my 21st birthday, I started my career with weddings at an Alaskan lodge hosting ten weddings that first summer. Since then I've worked in floral design, photography, & the food/wine industries. In 2017, I toured California working event logistics at five different festivals, including Coachella.

Rose was so incredibly helpful and thoughtful in helping us curate a rooftop reception following our SF City Hall marriage. Her expertise in event planning lended so much insight into what was needed to organize the event in the weeks prior, and her team’s attention to detail made our rooftop event really feel like a celebration. She and her team not only handled set up, decorating, and takedown, but she also offered kindness and joy to us throughout our time working with her.
