We opted for our editing to take 4-12 weeks and at the 4 week mark we got our photos. Over 500 breathtaking photos were sent to us in our easy to use client portal. “My tango classmate once said that our instructor taught dance as if she were teaching math; the same could be said of Stephen’s approach to photography. From planning to execution Stephen was on top of his game. Starting from the initial inquiry he provided thorough responses in an enthusiastic and timely manner. I could tell that he loves doing what he does and is very excited to talk about anything photography related. During the planning phase Stephen provided input on scheduling and location selection. We must have exchanged a dozen emails on this topic. We also put together a mood board that consisted of: shots that I was interested in from his prior work, colors, what I liked and didn’t like about each sample photo. Stephen is an exceptional photographer. I love that his photographs aren’t as washed out or overly bridal bright. I wanted photos that weren’t just beautiful, but to have some richness and depth. Stephen checked all the boxes. Since my wedding was really an elopement + 1 guest, we had to be creative with a combination of wedding-esque and non-standard activities. On the day of, Stephen captured the candid moments beautifully, but he also directed us for some posed ones. Friends and family loved the photos we shared and commented on how natural we looked. I suddenly recalled Stephen’s remarks during the session: “no 90 degree elbows” “too maternity” “keep it PG” Looking at the photos now I do appreciate these reminders because it really helped us look our best in these photos that we widely distribute. With that said, Stephen is also very personable and easy to work with. We became increasingly more comfortable with him as the day progressed and that's reflected in our photos. Now that we’ve overcome the awkwardness of working with our photographer for the first time, we look forward to having Stephen photograph us again for our first year anniversary!”

“We're actually rating The Hendrys one trillion stars out of five because they are "out of this world" amazing photographers and you should stop reading this review and book them ASAP! If you're still reading though, let us break down our perfect experience with them: They were recommended to us by our venue (Valentine DTLA) and we fell in LOVE with them as soon as we saw their website! Their portfolio and "about me" won us over because we were looking for wedding photographers who could capture the in-between moments, do some fun stylized shots, and be just as fun and goofy as we are! We reached out over the website and heard back from them immediately over email. Their super funny, yet professional personality came through and that got us so excited to work with them! They were also open to us asking as many questions as we wanted (especially when it came to the contract), which made us feel even more comfortable! We then got to meet them over ZOOM where we broke down how the day would go, they asked us what kind of pictures we were looking for, and we just got to know each other. We honestly may have become best friends with them as we couldn't stop talking to them about everything and anything for 2 hours. After that, we knew we were gonna be in the best hands, but we could never have ever imagined how perfect they really would be! When it finally came to the wedding day, The Hendrys went above and beyond! They were extremely professional as they kept us on schedule while experimenting with different types of photos (using a Fish Eye Lens, prisms, neon lights, etc.). They knew how to make everything feel super relaxed and fun and just let us do whatever was natural to us no matter what kind of photo it was. While we were losing it over the fact we just got married, The Hendrys just let us take everything in while politely directing us for photos. When we weren't doing staged photos, they were out of sight, but taking stunning photographs of everything that was happening in between. They were like ninjas as they would disappear and then reappear and grab us for the next shoot! It really was so cool! A few weeks after the wedding, we received our photos in record time and they were the COOLEST PHOTOS EVER (which you can see attached to this review)! We cannot thank The Hendrys enough for their hilarious stories, non-stop professionalism, unwavering kindness & selflessness, and being true magicians with their cameras and artistic vision. “We were nervous when it came to hiring a photographer, because after the whirlwind of the day, photos are one of the only things you get to keep once the day is over that help you relive the moments. We had heard so many horror stories and knew it was one of the most important decisions we were going to make. But thankfully, hiring Mysi was truly one of the BEST DECISIONS we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was intentional, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. She made it a priority to meet with us in person—not just to talk logistics, but to get a feel for how we interact with each other. She wanted to understand our dynamic so she could best capture authentic, candid moments on the day. That personal touch meant a lot to us. She even took the time to drive up to our venue (a private residence) in advance to scout out the space. Watching her creativity come to life as she walked through the house and surrounding areas was such a fun and reassuring moment—we knew we were in great hands. We didn’t want just traditional posed photos; we wanted a mix of candid, artistic, and emotionally rich shots that told the full story of the day. She completely delivered. “I don’t think I will ever find the right words for Carmen, but if you are reading this because you are still in limbo whether you want to book her for your next big event, STOP whatever it is you are doing and book her right NOW (before its too late and you regret it foreva). It took awhile for me to realize that these are not just photos you look at once in your life,but photos that you will forever be looking back to- the photos you will show your grand babies and so forth. “My wife and I had actually happened upon Demecio and Luna Bella two years prior to our wedding completely by chance at a wedding expo in LA. Like any prospective couple, we had no idea what we were looking for. Luna Bella was actually one of the first vendors we spoke to on the floor that day. Hours later we had come to the conclusion that they were probably who we would choose for photos, it wasn't even close after talking to a hall full of photographers. Luna Bella was actually the first vendor we officially booked and by far the single best choice we made. We actually contracted Demecio and his team to do our engagement photos on top of the wedding photos, from the start he was extremely courteous and his enthusiasm made the day fun. Even early on Demecio was open to our ideas and engaged in even the smallest details my wife or I suggested. Post engagement he was easy to communicate with, for all the vendors we worked with, it was more like talking to a friend than just someone working a contract. This was made even more apparent as leading up to our wedding and the day of his team was as excited as we were for the wedding day. There's a million things that go into a wedding day and obviously having someone to rely on to help line out details and timelines like Demecio was a godsend. On site the day of, Demecio and his team weren't just photographers. Of all things, the last thing I expected was to be complimented on how much fun our wedding guests had interacting with his whole team. Some of my family mentioned his team members by name recounting small moments they helped inspire and capture in photos we later saw. Beyond that the Luna Bella team took so much love and care in their craft, if you're willing to spend the time with them, they're willing to go the extra mile to capture just the most gorgeous photos you'll ever see. Quality wise the delivery was timely and the style of the photos looked clean and natural. Overall I cannot recommend Demecio and the whole team at Luna Bella enough. They're straightforward in their promises and over deliver on results. An extraordinary team that I'm beyond grateful to have met.”
