The Crow and Calico Tavern at Crozehead Cooperage is a truly unique venue. Set on the backdrop of the oldest farm in Monee, built in 1864, we are the only cooperage in Illinois and one of only 28 in the US. We are 2023 honorees of the IL Bureau of Tourism 'Illinois Makers' award. With over 5 acres, including 2 acres of woodland, a nature trail and a scenic pond, it lends itself to a fairy tale atmosphere. The Crow and Calico Tavern is a quaint and cozy premium whiskey bar with a European feel. A biergarten provides 750 square feet of covered space and includes use of our high tables and fest tables if desired. A furnished side patio provides an ideal spot for a cigar and bourbon! Furnished alcoves along our woodline with fire pits to light the night sky and warm guests souls. We provide a furnished 20 x 30 cocktail tent and outdoor bar. The price includes 2 bartenders for 8 hours as well as an on-site cooper to provide barrel crafting demonstrations and tours at your guests leisure.

County Line Orchard provides elegance in a rustic setting for your special event or wedding. The Barn is a full-service private banquet facility and provides the perfect space for your next celebration. Whether it be a baby shower, wedding, corporate event, or gala affair, County Line Orchard has something for you! We pride ourselves on our friendly staff and outstanding service. Our Events Team will work with you throughout the planning process, and be on site the day of your event to make sure your County Line Orchard experience exceeds all expectations.

The Ellwood House Museum is an historic estate that offers three unique rental spaces on ten acres of gardens and grounds. These include the first floor and terraces of elegant Ellcourt, an historic Tudar Revival house built in 1899. It is available from March through mid-November and is our only venue where alcohol service is permissible. Ellcourt has an hourly rate of $350. The grounds also offer a choice of three garden spaces for wedding ceremonies. Garden rentals are available mid-May to mid-October and include an inclement weather backup location in the Hearthside Room of the Visitor Center. The rental rate is a flat fee of $500. The third venue is our more casual space, the Hearthside Room, which includes access to the galleries. It is available March through mid-November, and the rental rate is $75 per hour. All venues are limited to 80 people, and both indoor venues have full kitchens.

Set on 100 acres, The Barn at Wagon Wheel Farm traces its history back to the 1840’s when it operated as a dairy farm. We are a private golf club. We do allow non-members to rent our space for events. We have beautiful grounds for weddings. We pride ourselves on being reasonably priced. We are a go to in the area for showers.
