Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Since then, many hours and much effort have gone into creating the perfect space for weddings. As one of Michigan’s Premier Wedding Venues, this venue is a great choice!

Our event venue with scenic surroundings make this an ideal setting for weddings, family reunions, group gatherings, special events, and much more! We invite you and your group to experience the quiet beauty of its rural setting. Our eight hundred rolling, wooded acres bordering private Pickerel Lake provide the perfect atmosphere for your group... through all of nature's seasons. We offer banquet facilities from a complete wedding ceremony and reception or other special event to a luncheon meeting and anything in between. Our wedding rental includes use of the facility on Friday to decorate and rehearse and Saturday for the ceremony and reception. We have 300 chairs and 30 round tables in our dining area and 15 cocktail tables with chairs around the dance floor on the upper level.

River Dell Venue boasts a river-side ceremony location complete with rough-sawn log benches. There is an intimate wooded trail to get to the river and there is plenty of room to spread out. We have an indoor ceremony location in case of a rainy day and the farmhouse is an excellent bridal suite. River Dell really takes on the style of each couple and is very flexible to individual preferences.

This beautiful land was deeded in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson, and acquired by John Alber in 1881 to operate as an orchard and cider mill. Today's owners, Mike and Therese Bossory, are preserving the centennial orchard, gazebo, barns, and cider press to assure your family or special group with a clean, safe, relaxing time on the farm. The outside 40 acre farm formerly were horse pastures now transformed into green luscious grass with choices of Arbors for your ceremonies, beautiful ponds, lots of room for parking, with a farm style like ranch gardens and backdrops with woodsy and scenic views for fantastic wedding photos. Stay in the 5 bedroom farmhouse cottage on the property and have the rehearsal and dinner on the property or in the workshop party room and then have the ceremony the next day.
