My name is Amanda and I am the owner and dreamer behind Amanda MacPhee Studios! I specialize in weddings and branding! I love being a storyteller focused on JOY! Joy of being a bride, joy of following your dreams, joy from the little things in life. I want to capture it all! A little bit about me: I'm a fur mama, a Disney fan, and a taco fiend! Now put those three things together after a wedding filled with romance and joy, and that might be the best day ever! 😁

Amanda is a true artist. Her pictures are incredible and she captures each moment in such a special way. She was incredible to work with before, on our big day, and after the wedding. She also was a step ahead of us and always kept us up to date on all the plans. Amanda is kind, fun to work with, flexible, extremely talented, and always makes everything stress free especially for those not always comfortable with being in front of the camera. If you are debating who to choose for your big day, don't look any more! Choose Amanda, she's amazing!

Choose from the Orchard Barn, Carriage House, Tented Overlook, The Green and the School House to orchestrate your perfect day. Photo op locations abound including numerous bridges, gates, stone walls, mature trees and landscaping, a pond, and a creek to name but a few. #ourrusticisreal

We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.

Hey there, folks! So, I've been known to dabble in this little thing called photography, or as some like to eloquently put it, playing around with a "time-freezing device" also known as a camera. But don't worry, I promise I actually know how to use one! My journey into the world of photography began back in my college days. I spent countless nights diving into the world of photography, learning everything I could find on YouTube Academy of Photography (if that were an actual thing). If you're in the market for a self-taught, hard-working, humble photographer, then I think I'm your person.

Everything about working with Marcus is LOVELY — from the first phone call, to our engagement photos, to our elopement photos. I was initially anxious about hiring a photographer, especially since (1) I had no idea where to start and (2) we were eloping so these were going to be *the* thing to mark the day. He was my first phone call and within 5 minutes of talking to him I was sold. I only had two broad (vague) ideas for what I wanted and he took them and turned them into plans I could be excited about. Ultimately, our engagement photos involved a last minute location change and our elopement photos ended up needing a schedule change. Marcus was nothing but responsive and encouraging through everything. He was ready with new ideas and managed to keep me excited when I'd have otherwise been really stressed. I’m not sure anyone else would have been so flexible while also staying so warm and kind. And of course, the photos are gorgeous. He manages to talk to you and make you laugh and feel like you’re just hanging out while also capturing a thousand (literally) photos. The last time my husband or I had professional photos taken we were probably in high school, but Marcus was a pro at making us feel comfortable. His eye is great and he sees things we’d have never thought of, to beautiful results. I’ve already told my husband when we need photos for anything in the future, we’re calling Marcus. 12/10 recommend. Giving him glowing reviews is going to be my new hobby, and if you work with him it’ll be yours too.
