Born and raised in Maryland, I’m a creative wedding photographer. A lotta years back I jacked in my safe, noble, health insurance-providing job working with grieving families to follow a little dream I had. I wanted to take pictures. Pictures so beautiful they make people do a little cry. So that’s what I did. I also managed to bring two spirited boys into the world. That means I live a completely outnumbered existence with two males in the house but don’t worry, I’m on top of it. Hi, my name is Sum (Soom)! My love for photography started with making my own music to shooting my own music video. Then I started shooting pictures for church events that lead to weddings. After hundreds of shooting events and weddings, now I am running my own wedding photography and videography business.

In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! By using WOOD flowers, we are able to custom dye & arrange them to give a bride more versatility. I am so honored to be a small part of a bride’s special day!
