My husband is a musician so music was one of the most important aspects of the wedding for him and DJ Kevin met his high standards. Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was informative, communicative, and has the type of personality that helps melt the stress away (and I couldn't have appreciated that more in the last week before the wedding!). He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. “This band is outstanding! Words can’t express our gratitude. Early in our planning, we checked out the band at a local bar. The enthusiasm from the mixed-age crowd solidified that we wanted to work with Covergirl. The band helped personalize a song for our first dance. We think their version is better than the original, and we wish we had recorded it. We found the band to be communicative throughout the lengthy process of planning. For example, they initiated checking in at the venue and adapted to family requests, such as a toast. They also provided a comprehensive set list to work from while proactively being open to our ideas. We found the sound technology choices to work well with the space and the stages of a reception. When the dinner took longer than expected, they added to the playlist accordingly. The volume level ended up a perfect balance for dancing and guests being able to chat. We must add that nearly every song got a different group on the dance floor each time. The band kept the dance floor active throughout the event. Our guests can’t stop mentioning the band’s excellence and kind approach; guests made it clear that they didn’t want the band to stop playing.
