“Booking Rachel Stenger was one of the best vendor decisions that my husband and I made for our wedding day. Even from the first meeting we had with Rachel, she has such a calming and warm presence which we knew was what we would need the day of. She has such a unique way of photographing and capturing moments that make her so special and unlike a lot of other wedding photographers we met with. We did an engagement session with her and she made us feel so at ease, like most couples we're not naturally in front of the camera but she was able to easily talk us through poses throughout the session. We had a call the month of to discuss details with her - e.i, timeline, shot list, etc. This was a great call because it helped all of us get on the same page for day of. Forwarding to the wedding day - Rachel arrived early to start on capturing details. She helped us stay on-time during getting ready and first look since my DoC was at the venue setting up. She was able to capture SO many images throughout the day from getting ready all the way to the dance floor. Aside from the staged/traditional photos you'd expect from the wedding, she captured so many beautiful candid moments. She moved in SILENCE, I truly didn't see her for most of the day (in a good way!) yet we ended up with 750 images in the 7 hrs we hired her for. She captured everything and more. When we finally got the full album - my husband and I spent had an amazing 2 hours reliving every single moment! She blew us away and we were not prepared by how beautifully she captured the day - all of the details, the emotions, and the aesthetics, were EVERYTHING! “This is a way too late review for a spectacular wedding planner and event designer who brought to life the wedding of my dreams in June 2022! Lauren and her team truly provide a 5-star experience in every way and more. Before I met Lauren, I had a vision for my wedding, but really wasn't sure how to bring it to fruition. I was walking through the "steps" recommended in different timeline sheets, which in itself is very tiring, and starting very big picture. But as anyone who has planned a wedding knows, the details start to become very, very overwhelming - especially when there's a specific look and feel you want for your wedding. Where do you invest your time and money? That's where Lauren was a lifesaver. Some key moments in our work together included: aligning us via several conversations and an inspiration deck (really important for making sure you're on the same page), meeting me at a rental facility to walk through design elements together, coordinating with family members to make sure she got a comprehensive picture of what really mattered to me (bless my partner, he couldn't care less), and "secretly" working with family members to make the vision "bigger and better" and surprise me. Lauren also has an IMPECCABLE eye for how to bring all the million details together. She hand-selected and/or advised on every detail, from utensil colors to linens to stamp types to wax seals - all the tiny details that create a full "experience" for you and your guests, but by the end, you don't have energy to pick yourself! Moreover, Lauren is incredibly professional, warm, direct, patient, and supportive - all traits you need in a planner and designer. She will also tell you what she thinks, which is essential, particularly in the home stretch! By the end, Lauren was responsible for creating the wedding of my dreams. I can truly say it was the most magical weekend of my life, and while all weddings are so special when you have the people you love, it doesn't quite feel *spectacular* without all those details coming together. I was born and raised in a quiet seaside town on the South Shore of Long Island. I grew up in a place where good, strong love grows with parents who have been together since they were 16 years old. They taught me that true love grows in the face of hardship and, as strong believers in their faith, that love is, indeed, patient and kind. And so as soon as I realized that wedding photography didn’t have to be posed and mechanical; that I could shoot weddings from a more organic and authentic lens; that I could document a story, not direct one, I was hooked!

“Having a good photographer was one of my priorities for my wedding. I knew the day was going to be a whirlwind and I wanted to be able to look back and at least have one photo where my eyes weren’t closed or something. Lauren absolutely delivered — I don’t think we’ve ever looked as good in pictures and I know I probably won’t again!! Lauren also recommended Elizabeth for our day-of coordinator and I don’t know what we would have done without her — I definitely would have lost my mind, of that I’m sure. First, I can’t overstate the importance of finding a photographer with whom you have a good rapport — Lauren has this charisma where you instantly feel at ease and like you’ve known her your whole life. It frankly made me less nervous and I think that translates really well in the photos. She’s also a master of making you look the best in posed photos - giving little positioning directions that you look elegant without looking stiff. Every time I look at the pictures I’ll notice another candid moment that Lauren managed to capture or simply marvel at how she somehow can translate emotion in a still picture — I find myself smiling and definitely not crying (jk definitely crying) because you can FEEL what we were feeling in these photos. Second, get you a planner who is superhuman. Elizabeth took over six weeks (!) before the wedding and it was like a literal weight was lifted from my shoulders. At our first meeting she went through her checklist (and mine bc of course I had my own) and said “I’ll take care of it” to literally everything... and then...did?? I was fully prepared to have to follow up with vendors and micromanage but I basically didn’t have to do anything. It was magical. Elizabeth and her team did so much work and went above and beyond in literally every way to ensure we had a perfect day. Anyway, if you’re struggling with choosing a photographer because there are 72525 million to choose from, and you like the style of Lauren’s photos, go for it ASAP. Lauren is incredible and I feel so lucky that we were able to work with her. And if you need a day-of coordinator (or a full blown wedding planner!) pick Elizabeth - she has the eye for design and the capability to pull it off and pull it off well!”

“Words cannot define the worth and joy it was to have Kawania and her team be a part of my wedding day. She was a constant advocate for our needs and budget throughout the process, being realistic at every turn. What I know now is that what you get with Kawania is experience and know-how of the industry. She has planned several weddings and events before and knows how to troubleshoot mishaps that may happen on the wedding day in real time. She understands that the day of the event is a special moment for everyone involved and she knows not to bring stress to the wedding party and to allow them to live in the moment. At subsequent weddings, I have felt that my friends needed this approach with their planners on their wedding day/weekend. I, being their guest or in their bridal party felt the disorganization that their planners or self-planning brought. This was not the case with Kawania. We had glowing comments about our wedding day for even a year after and how it was not just a ceremony but a day of entertainment. She is an excellent communicator. We had regular meetings throughout the year, about once a week. I have seen my friends have wedding planners who do not get back to them for several days after they have a question about their wedding. Kawania brought my vendors to me instead of me having to look for vendors on my own and when one did not work she always had another one that could take the place. She set up meetings with me and my vendors one-on-one and reviewed all of our vendor contracts to make sure that we were getting a fair contract and that expectations for the vendor and for us were both reasonable and what we were looking for. Being a very busy working professional I appreciated that Kawania went above and beyond to make sure that I stayed on the schedule and was extremely patient when there were moments when I could not. I value how she brought my vision to life and had such great attention to small details that my day was exceptional. I have seen my guests feature elements of my wedding at their subsequent events and it speaks to how she was able to set the bar high for what a classy and unique event should be. Far beyond a wedding planner, she has become someone that I keep in contact with after the wedding. She even checked in on me when there was a major catastrophic event that took place in the area where I lived months after the wedding. There were even moments when I became uncertain or stressed and focused on the wrong thing when it came to my wedding. Kawania, quite like a mother figure helped me realize what my focus should be and to ignore all other distractions so that when I walked down the aisle, I was in full confidence of how the day was going to be and did not feel a single ounce of stress on my wedding day. I could not be more thrilled to work with Kawania again. Although I do not see myself getting remarried I would certainly work with her for any big event I needed in the future. She has such a positive energy and global about her and brings a light to every interaction even difficult ones that makes her pleasant, respectable, dependable, and all around the absolute reason why my big day went off such success. I cannot state how tirelessly she and her team worked so when I did meet them in person but felt like I was meeting friends who knew exactly what I wanted. I had looked at several people’s work and talked to many photographers, but there was always something missing from their work that I had been searching for. When visiting a wedding expo, I came to his booth and knew immediately that this was the photographer I wanted to shoot my wedding! He doesn’t just take a photograph; he captures a moment in time! His photos evoke emotion more than just happiness. I could feel the joy and warmth of his subjects come to life. “Your guests will leave full and happy. The food is AMAZING. We had people coming up to us and our parents on wedding day asking who catered. We had a lot of vegan and gluten free guests and Classic made sure that they had just as many options as those without the restrictions. Our vegan friends who are used to just picking at salads at every wedding couldn't stop talking about how good everything was, and how they could actually eat it! We worked with Georgetta who helped us at every turn. She made everything perfect and did so much for us, from the time of our first tasting to the very end of the big day. She answered every question and every single email. She was always quick with it and always encouraged us to ask as many questions as we needed to, to feel confident in the process. She worked with our budget and made everything come out better than we could have ever imagined. Classic's wait staff and bartenders were also incredible. My husband requested specific gluten free beers because of an allergy and not only did they pull through with it, but they also poured him one for dinner before he even had to ask. They did the same for me with my favorite cocktail! We felt like A-list celebrities all night. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and their attention to detail is unmatched. “Our venue included a day-of coordinator, which we were skeptical of, but they pretty much insisted. As the months went along, and our planning progressed, our point of contact at the venue changed 3 times. I still had no idea who my day of person would be, but they assured me, someone would be there. With the amount of turnover in the venue's staff, we just didn't feel comfortable trusting that this would be the case. I reached out to a friend who recommended On.Hae.Productions and we spoke with Angie and I just immediately felt better. Angie assured me she would be there for me every step of the way and thank goodness she was. I am not even going to go into the number of things that were missed by the venue, mainly due to the staff changes and notes not passing hands etc, and thankfully, Angie knew our entire vision and was able to swoop in and make sure that the right people were where they needed to be and when. She had to correct the placement of the DJ and the layout of our tent because of course it threatened to rain etc. She just made what could have been problem after problem, turn into a smooth event. We cannot stress how thankful we are to have had Angie and On.Hae.Productions. She really is that insurance package to make sure your day goes right. And, I have to say, she's extremely easy to work with. She listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions based on our ideas, instead of telling us what we wanted and we really appreciated that. “We contacted Sweet Edible Print after finding it listed on the Zola vendor website for Cakes and Desserts. Our wedding had a "Paris on the Potomac" theme and we wanted wedding favors for our guests that would align with our theme. We consulted with the SEP team on the types and flavors of macarons that we were interested in having and also provided them with our Eiffel Tower design which they were able to match perfectly! The SEP team was able to match our "French blue and white" color scheme and the flavors were delicious! Our guests were impressed with the beautiful design, packaging and various flavors of the macarons. We ordered the "Love on Top" package which allowed us to have a macaron tower during our rehearsal dinner and also to include individually wrapped macarons in each of our wedding guest gift bags.
