Longshadow Ranch Winery was a beautiful venue for our wedding day. For the price, you can't beat the lush location that allowed us to fully customize the event to our liking without the venue dictating how our special day would flow. Dave was amazing to work with throughout the planning process and really made us feel we had the freedom to craft the wedding of our dreams. The only hiccups were some communication issues with the office staff in the final two months leading up to the big day regarding payments and contract details. While delayed, after contacting Dave on this matter, we did eventually get responses to email inquiries but a phone call option would have been preferred for timely resolutions. Overall, it was a beautiful venue and great value, we just wish the communication was more consistent in those important final weeks. Everything was 5 stars, unfortunately the communication, which I value a great deal, was the only lacking quality. Which, if this is the only area to improve, I think this speaks to the overall quality of the venue. Note: I would give 4.5 if I could!

Let me start by saying that the Secret Garden and the Epic Coordination team made all of my wedding dreams come true! I recently got married at the Secret Garden on April 28th, 2024. It truly was the most magical day of my life not just because I was marrying my soulmate, but because of the amazing coordination team that made our vision come to life. It was the first venue that my husband and I looked at, and we immediately fell in love with it. We loved that it was a beautiful indoor and outdoor garden venue, but we also loved how they offered an all-inclusive wedding package. They have a list of recommended vendors, including DJ, caterer, florist, photography/videography, and so much more. They give you the option to choose a vendor that they don't have on their recommended list, but we did everything through them and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They really offer the best-of-the-best professionals that know exactly what they're doing. A special shoutout to our coordinator, Laura, for being so organized and making sure everything was perfect on our big day! When it came to the day of the wedding, the entire timeline flowed seamlessly. None of the guests were left waiting around or wondering what was going on because the coordination team was so on top of everything! Everyone at our wedding, including myself and my husband, had an amazing time. Another thing to mention was that the communication with the Secret Garden and their team was beyond excellent! Any question I had, they answered promptly and made sure that the planning process was seamless. I had an enjoyable experience planning our wedding thanks to the support from the Secret Garden and Epic team! To conclude, my wedding day at the Secret Garden was literally the happiest day of our lives! It couldn't have been more perfect. If you're envisioning a fairytale garden wedding like I was, choose this venue!

Me and my husband recently got married here at the Beverly Mansion. It was truly the perfect day! VENUE: Of course, Grand Tradition is absolutely beautiful (it is what we were initially drawn to). Their landscape is always luscious and VERY well-kept. Gorgeous bright green lawns and colorful flowers. You hardly even need any ceremony décor. This venue is pretty enough on its own. COORDINATION: We had a coordinator swap midway through planning, and ended up with Lisa. She was EXTRAORDINARY! She made the whole entire process such a breeze and easily answered any questions/concerns we had. Lisa was professional, organized and extremely friendly. We loved getting to work with her. She worked her butt off during the entire process, and it showed on our wedding day. Everything ran SO smooth. Lisa made sure to keep us on schedule and handled all the vendors, everything went without a hitch. STAFF: The entire Grand Tradition staff we had on our wedding day exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived I almost felt like a celebrity. We were treated with smiles, enthusiasm and care. The whole team was professional and really knew how to put on a wedding. I had two bridal assistants, Mackenna and Kaitlyn, who were absolute angels. You both really made me feel at ease with our little chats. You were constantly checking in on me, fixing my dress, holding my drinks, getting me food and doing anything I needed throughout the entire day. FOOD: You never really know what you are going to get with wedding food, but I think Grand Tradition has some of the best. That had SO many options when picking out what we wanted on our buffet, it made it easy to accommodate all different tastes. Our guests are still telling us how amazing their food was. Everything was truly delicious! Overall, I would recommend this venue to anyone. If you want a fairytale, stress-free and perfect wedding, this is the place to go!

Let me start off by saying, I was a girl who never cared to get married, until I found Sacred Mountain Julian. I knew immediately from their photos, I needed to book my wedding there. Right when they announced their 2023 reservations were open, I immediately booked a walk through and basically booked my fall wedding. First off, the Sunset Plateau is so amazing and breathtaking to say your vows. I specifically told my photographer that I wanted to take as many photos possible on the property. Every area offers photos ops of your liking. The team there is amazing to work with. I recommend visiting the property to see the beauty for yourself.

Oakwood Creek was built in the 1930s by WW Wood and his wife Leanora. Wood drove a truck that hauled dairy milk from the outlying ranches into the town of Julian. Later on, Wood would operate B&L Liquor on the main street. The remains of W's garage are still very apparent on the property today, along with his goat shed & stables. We have one of the last intact water towers in the historic district. The property has been preserved to reflect the period in which it was built. This beautiful venue sits atop a picturesque knoll overlooking the historic town of Julian. Oakwood Creek made our wedding dreams come true...if you are looking for a rustic, charming, cozy, and intimate venue, look no further - you have found it in Oakwood Creek. As a couple that paid for our wedding ourselves, finding the perfect venue, location, setting all within budget started out challenging. But after one tour at Oakwood Creek, we knew right away we found our venue. (It actually was our first and only tour, that's how certain we were.) We had 35 guests (planned for 40) and it was the perfect size. My husband and I only wanted our closest friends and family so this venue was perfect for us. We were able to get plate rentals through the venue and coordinated all of our vendors through Oakwood Creek. The entire team at Oakwood Creek is amazing. I definitely had a few moments of tears before the wedding after 100% rain was forecasted on my wedding day but the team pivoted everything indoors for the reception and we were able to do the ceremony outside. They all kept me grounded and answered every single one of my questions (there were MANY) lol! We have two venues: *The Island -- Lake Cuyamaca has a scenic, natural site suitable for small outdoor weddings. Venue is rented for 6 daylight hours. Tables & chairs are not included.  *Ole Firehouse -- The Firehouse is a newly renovated former fire station with a 40' x 60' event room, the perfect space for both weddings and receptions. Amenities include: the venue room, a full kitchen, two restrooms, an outdoor patio area, a large, shaded deck, and an upstairs bridal dressing room/loft space. It has a 80-person indoor capacity with the Firehouse bay doors closed & a 100-person capacity when they are open. We'd love to give you a tour of our unique locations & are committed to doing all we can to help you make this a memorable day!

We have so many good things to say about the Ole Firehouse, we’re not sure where to start. In a gorgeous location with mountain and lake views, the Ole Firehouse is just a short drive from Julian. The venue has a HUGE amount of space inside and out—in addition to the main indoor-outdoor area, there’s a getting-ready room upstairs, a fully functional kitchen for any catering needs, plenty of parking, and a beautiful outdoor deck. The staff is easy to work with and very relaxed, which was such a pleasant change from other venues that insist on monitoring your every move. Getting to access the venue for three days for set-up and tear-down was also a game-changer. And finally, all of these amenities—including tables and chairs—came at a seriously amazing price. Bottom line: if you want a stress-free, beautiful space to host a wedding or a reception, book the Ole Firehouse ASAP! We feel so fortunate that we were able to celebrate our special day in this one-of-a-kind venue.
