Caterers: Ask if they offer full-service catering and if tableware is included!

Catering vendors with “full service” can also provide wait staff/bussers which you will need on your big day until 9:30pm. Caterers who have not been to OWC before are required to do a walk through prior to being booked by couple no later than 30 days prior to the event and there is a $200 admin fee to approve a new caterer. OWC has beautiful tableware rentals available for reasonable rates! Ask our coordinator for details.

In-House Bar Services:

We have partnered with Julian Beer Company as our in-house bar service provider! Their packages start at $25.00 per person: • Your choice of two craft beers • Red and white wine • Free Gift Certificates for beer & wine tastings • Plus tax and grauity • Contact Jeremy for details. All alcoholic beverages must be served by our in-house ABC Certified bartender with liquor liability insurance for your wedding day at our bar. No hard liquor is allowed at the venue – no exceptions. Please inform all your guests prior to the wedding day.

What vendors can I hire?

Over the years we have worked with some excellent professionals that we highly recommend and trust completely to work with our couples. These vendors are listed in our “Preferred Vendor List”. We also love working with new professionals and require any companies that have not been to our property before to chat with our staff before you book them. This ensures we have the necessary setup for them, and they provide all the services required to make your event successful.

In-House Wedding Planners:

We have the pleasure of having the staff of Family Affair Weddings handle all the details from wedding planning, running the rehearsal, to wedding coordination on the big day! This service is included in our venue rental fee.

Question 5

What insurance is required?

Accepted Answer

● We require a Certificate of Liability Insurance from all vendors bringing items onto our property or using any of our inventory, listing ‘E. Barrett and Company, Inc.’ as additionally insured. ● Renters are required to purchase an Event Insurance policy for the day of event. Our insurance agent is happy to help all of our clients with this requirement.

Event Staff

Our staff provides setup/breakdown of OWC tables, chairs, and décor and is present throughout the duration of every event to assist with our guests as needed.

Do you have add-on fees?

Accepted Answer

The $250 Cleaning Fee is the only add-on fee we have, everything else is included – such a great deal! For the Venue Rental fee, we require 50% down on contract signing and the 50% balance is due 30 days prior to the event along with the $250 Cleaning Fee.

Are you dog friendly?

Due to our location and exposure to nature, only dogs are allowed that are friendly and not trained hunting dogs. They are welcome to attend the ceremony only as well as photos after the ceremony and arrangements must be made for the reception. They are also required to always be on a leash and cannot enter the Venue House, Bath House photo booth, Bridal Salon, or Groom’s Trailer at any time. We have a $150 pet fee and allow up to 2 dogs.

Where can people stay overnight?

Question 11

Can we pick up our personal items the following morning?

Since we often have tours after events on the following day, all personal items and any leftover beer or wine must be taken by the client at the end of the event.

Can we arrive to the venue prior 10:00am?

We ask our clients to arrive no earlier than the contracted 10:00am start time.

Question 13

Do you offer any complimentary décor items?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have lots of items you are welcome to borrow for your big day. Everything is listed in our Look Book and our coordination team will be happy to send it to you. We also offer some specialty items for a reasonable rental fee.
