“We hired Alexis's team to be the day-of coordinator for our wedding reception and are so pleased that we did. She was helpful in making suggestions, decisions and changes and coordinating with various vendors when confusion came up. It was a huge relief to know that she would be the one to expertly handle those last minute issues, and she was able to solve several of those issues (unsurprisingly, I made a few mistakes). Our wedding was small and casual, and despite her usual role running highly produced weddings, she was supportive, encouraging, and flexible to roll with our vision. A week before when a couple of unexpected issues came up, Alexis met with me at the venue over a drink to talk things through again and provided authentic support that turned around my whole energy about it all. Her team member Nicole was our onsite coordinator and she took my materials and impeccably delivered on the look and setup at the venue. It was a huge value to have someone prepared to listen to what our vision was and then make some of the last decisions and judgment calls to get it there -- because my husband and I are decidedly NOT event professionals. “Hiring the Styled Stem was the #1 best decision of all the wedding decisions we made! We hired them for full service wedding planning and design, and the attention we received was top-tier. In the months before the wedding, the Styled Stem team provided the perfect balance of logistical and emotional support to allow me to go into my wedding day without any concerns. From day 1, the team listened to my vision and worked with me to make it happen, from finding the best-in-class vendors to floral design to logistical support. My wedding was set in the backyard of my uncle's rural property in western New Jersey. There were many unique challenges associated with this venue choice: parking on a bumpy lawn, scarcity of indoor restrooms, a long driveway which made for tricky rental delivery. Candice and her team found us the valet who would make it happen, the more deluxe mobile restrooms any of our guests had seen, and on the day of my wedding, she solved delivery mishaps before I even heard about then. The day was a perfect blend of flowery laid-back visuals while still feeling elegant and allowing the natural environment to sing. My wedding bouquet, a Styled Stem design, was absolutely perfect, and Candice's completely independent design and creation. One more thing: this team attended the most sentimental day of our lives and fit right in among our family and friends. They worked incredibly hard, but with such grace and good humor, they felt like family. “We could not have pulled off our wedding without the Lovehaus team. We used Lovehaus for styling and partial planning (planning starting at 6-mo out). My husband and I are the biggest procrastinators, and combined with very busy and time-consuming jobs, I knew that we would never be the wedding planners that we needed to be. A friend recommended Lovehaus and we're so thankful she did. Tabitha was our coordinator and she is a real-life angel organizer, who kept all our timelines on track, kept us in check, and handled all the coordination with our vendors so that we could have a stress-free wedding day. Not only did she work directly with all our vendors so we didn't even have to think about it, but she also helped us make decisions when we were indecisive (which was more often than not) and shared her recommendations for vendors and helped us choose the ones that best fit our needs. She joined all the vendor meetings too, asking questions I would never have thought of and helping me to create shot lists or decide on food options. Separate from vendor coordination, she helped to style the beautiful wedding we were hoping for, creating a style guide that perfectly reflected what we asked for and choosing or creating design elements (linens, florals, signage) we loved. She even helped share recommendations for all the bridal party dresses that everyone loved using as their inspo, which helped to create such a beautiful and fun pink moment for my bridesmaids. In addition to all her planning expertise, she was amazing the day of the wedding with her assistant, Shaun. The two of them kept our timelines on track and got us where we needed to be, when we needed to be there. No one had to stress about a thing as they had everything covered. They were even able to get a lovely orange stain off the front of my dress from the pollen on a flower in my bouquet before the ceremony. Everyone in the bridal party was raving about the Lovehaus team and how well they handled the whole day. I cannot thank Tabitha and the Lovehaus team enough for all they did for us. 100/10 would absolutely, most definitely, without a doubt, recommend.”

We used Wendy for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and in each case she was incredibly flexible and her work was amazing. She allowed us to postpone our engagement photos until the cherry blossoms were in full bloom in Washington, DC, which is very hard to plan for! “My daughter loves Boba/bubble tea and requested to have them in her 5th birthday. I was hesitant at first as some of her classmates have allergies with certain foods but im glad they offer a lot of choices/flavors to choose from. Teas was supposed to be in barrels so the kids could custom their drinks with their choice of toppings, however speaking of kids who have so much energy in running around and playing, Kaitlyn suggested the pre-made drinks for them which i believe was a better idea. We had 3 choices of drinks for the kids peach, mango and the chocolate, the chocolate and mango won to the kids taste with popping bobba that explodes in the mouth, they really enjoyed it! And of course the parents and teachers loved it too!! Also on top of that, eventhough the drinks were premade , none of them tasted flat after a few hours of being sat in room temp, still full of flavors!! Definitely a must have caterer in your event, Kaitlyn is really awesome and she listens to every detail.”

“I found Erin through another DC wedding photographer who wasn't available on my wedding day but highly recommended her based on their similar photography style: classic and elegant. These adjectives were exactly what I wanted for our wedding day - someone who can capture our big day, while also finding beauty in the smallest details to the grandest backdrop. When I shared her work with a number of photographers, they quickly identified Erin's work was exceptional. After our first video call, I found Erin so easy to talk to and knew that I could trust her on our big day. When we first started to work with her on our engagement photo shoot, Erin was so fun and made us look so effortlessly beautiful. I was terrified of looking awkward, but she knew all the ways to make us look natural and elegant. Erin was also prompt in getting us our engagement photos since we wanted to share them on our wedding website; many of our friends and family were shocked by how amazing we looked in the DC landmarks.
