We love working with smart, light hearted, fun, and easy going people. Searching out natural light wherever possible we take an energetic and vibrant approach to photography. We stay true to who we are by maintaining a creative vision throughout your wedding day.

Over time we have learned that no relationship is like any other. We love photographing people with different perspectives and from every walk of life. With over 400 weddings photographed it is my desire to show unique stories of love and the beauty surrounding life in every image. That is what sets us apart.

    We first met Wendy a few weeks before our wedding to do a walkthrough of the venue, and instantly fell in love with her. We knew right away that she would be a dream to work with on our wedding day, and we were right! Wendy and Liz made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and kept us laughing and giggling right from the very beginning. The photos were so amazing! They were clear and beautiful and there was a wonderful balance of both candid and posed photos that captured the details of the day. We got pregnant soon after getting married and when our son was born, there was not a second of hesitation in choosing Wendy for our newborn photos. Once again, Wendy and Liz showed up with the same positive and high energy attitudes that we experienced on our wedding day, and the photos captured our son Charlie perfectly. We have since done a mini-shoot for holiday cards and another newborn photo shoot. Every time, Alex and I have to debate over which picture is the BEST to use because there are so many great ones. Beware - if you do a mini-shoot you will want to buy all of the photos :) Wendy and Liz are fun, passionate, caring and patient. They will do anything to get the perfect shot and put you completely at ease. They have been such an integral part of capturing important moments in our family from day one. Hopefully you will get to experience the same pleasure of working with them that we have.

    Our wedding day was made special by so many vendors, but Wendy Hickok Photography pushed our wedding above and beyond our expectations. We used Wendy for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and in each case she was incredibly flexible and her work was amazing. She allowed us to postpone our engagement photos until the cherry blossoms were in full bloom in Washington, DC, which is very hard to plan for! She braved frigid temperatures with us that day, but our engagement photos turned out amazing! To plan for our wedding photos, she came to our vineyard venue a couple of weeks before the wedding to make sure she knew what we wanted in our pictures, and made sure to fully execute that dream the day of our wedding. To this day, I still get compliments on our wedding and engagement photos as they turned out beautifully. Without hesitation, I give Wendy Hickok Photography 5 stars, and I imagine we will be using her services for photographing other life events in the future.
