Opened in 1929 as an original Loew's Wonder Theatre, Kings Theatre underwent an extensive restoration and reopening in 2015. At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.

The House of the Redeemer is a cultural and historical treasure to the neighborhood on the Upper East Side of New York City, offering a unique setting for reflection, study, fellowship, and prayer. It is a place apart, providing worship and hospitality for individuals seeking spiritual renewal. The House is a perfect location for weddings with a guest list of 100 or less. Our chapel on the second floor can hold up to 30 people with ease for small intimate wedding ceremonies. For larger weddings, the Library provides the perfect backdrop for a ceremony and can seat up to 100. An outside courtyard is an option for cocktails during warmer months, while The Refectory will accommodate 80 for a seated formal dinner.

The Love Shack is a photographic location, small event space, and live-in show home in Brooklyn, New York City. Maximum capacity for cocktail style events is 50 while for a seated dinner setting it's 22 on one long table or 32 on two long tables (requires removing furniture and takes up the majority of the space.) An experiment in the possibilities of loft living, surreality and commercial space, Alexander Love designed and built two life-size dollhouses in an ex-industrial building in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies is a fellowship program for post-doctoral scholars, who work in offices on the fourth and fifth floors of Columbia University's Casa Italiana building, the Academy's home on the main Morningside campus. (We also produce a variety of prestigious public events.) The building is located on Amsterdam Avenue just south of 118th Street. Wedding celebrations are most often in the Teatro, the 2nd-floor 2000-sq-foot ballroom with an adjacent outdoor terrace. We give several options for superb full-service caterers who consistently provide excellent food and service at fair prices. The Italian Academy provides a Public Safety guard, custodial cleaner, optional chairs and AV equipment, and a house manager to assist with making your planning easy and pleasant. Bolero was Designed by owner Jesse Muñoz. This building was originally called the Philadelphia Saving Fund Society. It was founded in December 1816 as the first savings bank to organize and do business in the United States. When you enter Bolero you are taking a step back in history. A time when service in hospitality was the staple of every event. Housed in a historic bank building we offer 4 unique venues. Our Speakeasy graces the ground level topped by the first-floor Vault Room and then the crowning glory is our Grand Ballroom with soaring 25ft ceilings and arched windows. The German Society of Pennsylvania is a historic, three-story brick building with a classic Colonial touch, and is an elegant setting for a Philadelphia wedding. The property offers several venues for every stage of your celebration. The Joseph Horner Memorial Library offers a unique space, with two stories and galleried bookcases. The antique furniture and wood paneling will evoke Belle’s library. Bolingbroke Mansion was built fifty years before the American Declaration of Independence and is just fifteen miles from where that historic event took place. This location has six event rooms, including several excellent outdoor ceremonies and reception locations. Indoors, the mansion can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. You'll find a beautiful staircase in their gardens that provides a stunning backdrop for photos. There is a side porch overlooking the sprawling green lawns and giant trees for cocktails and receptions. Stone-raised stairs and a landing in their memorial garden provide the ideal backdrop for any wedding ceremony, speech, or picture session. Seasonal flowers, lovely deciduous trees, and evergreens can be found in the magnificent private gardens that lead off Bolingbroke's back patio. The rear lawn also offers plenty of space to seat your guests for either the ceremony or for dinner.

In the heart of Center City, this landmark mansion takes its name from Horace Trumbauer, esteemed architect of America's Gilded Age. His career was launched with the creation of Lynnewood Hall in Elkins Park, the Georgian Revival palace commissioned by streetcar tycoon Peter A. B. Widener in 1897. A native Philadelphian, Trumbauer is also associated with grandiose buildings in New York and Newport, the main library at Harvard University and much of the campus of Duke University. Today, Trumbauer is hailed as one of America's premier architects. In 1906, he embarked on Trumbauer Hall, a formal Colonial Revival building of brick, concrete, limestone and marble construction. What began as one of the most prestigious private city clubs in North America is now also Center City’s best address for high-end entertaining. Since 1999, Jeffrey Miller has been the exclusive caterer for weddings, corporate dinners, fundraisers and other special events at Trumbauer Hall.
