Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our small wedding. Their twilight template was exactly the color palette I was looking for and they had options for everything I needed at an affordable price (in comparison to other Washington DC florists). I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and the set-up process.

Juniper and Rose Flowers

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Norlina, NC

I am a stay-at-home mom of three who loves flowers. Growing up on my family farm I foraged flowers and foliage to make arrangements for friends and neighbors. I love dreaming about weddings with brides and designing lovely arrangements out of stunning local flowers. Flowers are so gorgeous on their own, it is a delight to work with them. My dream of having my own flower farm is finally a reality! When you book me, your flowers will be unique and fully local, from my farm and other local farms. I especially enjoy using seasonal flowers because they lend their own character to the finished designs. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sparks & Sand

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500

Hi guys! Mekai here, owner + founder of Sparks + Sand floral design. Originally from Palm Springs, California and now in Raleigh for a couple years, S+S has brought me the most incredible opportunities to share in the joy + wonder florals can bring to every person, every event, every meaningful moment. I am so darn thankful I get to connect with so many unique people with visions I cannot believe I get to bring to the table. Thank you for supporting me, + allowing me the space to be a part of your most special celebrations. I cannot wait to connect with you!

This review is long overdue for my October 2021 wedding! We hired Sparks and Sand and I could not have been happier with how the florals turned out for my wedding. The process of planning was so stressful and we had to postpone from our original 2020 date. However, Mekai was a DREAM to work with. She was so helpful and responsive to all of my questions and quote changes. We had some last minute changes to the quote but she handled everything with ease. The florals were GORGEOUS and I could not have been happier. I literally teared up when they arrived to our Airbnb. They were everything I could have ever asked for. She understood fully what I was going for with just a few inspiration pictures. Everything was so easy and the florals were arranged beautifully at the venue. I'm so happy that I booked Mekai!

Buck Naked Farm

5.0

  • Starts at $450
  • Serves Norlina, NC

I'm a NC native and organic gardener who was drawn to flowers by my honeybees. I love drawing natural beauty from seeds and soil all the way to finished centerpieces. I'm constantly inspired by NC's distinct seasons and the abundance they provide to all the wildlife we steward on our farm.

cannot recommend Buck Naked Farm enough for your wedding flowers! From the very first consultation, they made the entire process so easy and personal. I wanted flowers that felt fresh, natural, and unique—nothing cookie-cutter—and they delivered beyond my expectations. The bouquets and centerpieces were stunning, filled with seasonal blooms grown on their farm in Pittsboro. You could *feel* the care and love that went into every arrangement. The colors and overall design perfectly matched the relaxed, romantic vibe of our wedding. My guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the flowers were! What I loved most was knowing that everything was locally and sustainably grown—something that was really important to us. They even accommodated my vision while suggesting blooms like dahlias that I hadn’t thought of, making the arrangements even more magical. If you’re looking for wedding flowers that are truly one-of-a-kind and beautifully designed, they are the way to go. They’re perfect for couples who want gorgeous local florals with a personal touch. 10/10!

Poppy Belle Event & Floral Design

5.0

  • Serves Norlina, NC

Hi, I’m Amy, the founder of Poppy Belle Design (PBD). You may remember me as the owner of Knots ‘N Such (KNS) back in my wedding planning days. Historically I did both the beautiful and logistical sides, but I eventually realized that design has always been the object of my affection. (Insert heart eyes here) So I eliminated my planning services (RIP) to make more time for event and floral design.

Absolutely wonderful! I worked with Amy, the owner of Poppy Belle, and could not have been happier. She was so attentive, detail oriented, and just a joy to work with. Great communication during the planning process, and my florals turned out so beautifully. 100% recommend.

Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!
