I started this business because I wanted to combine my talent and passion into something that matters. Weddings are undeniably beautiful experiences filled with love and joy shared between all of your closest friends and family. My goal is not just to capture the wedding day events but to capture the story, people and emotions that you will cherish for a lifetime and have to pass down to your children and beyond as a priceless family heirloom!

From the very beginning, Andrew went out of his way to get to know us. Before booking, we met to chat over lunch and I could instantly tell he not only loved what he does, but is good at it. After answering all of our questions, I knew we could not find anyone better for the job! After booking, he stayed in touch with us leading up to the big day! Communication between you and the vendors is so important, and Andrew definitely went above and beyond throughout the entire experience. Now let's talk about the video! WOW! It was beyond beautiful and exceeded all of our expectations. He captured every moment that we expressed was important, plus some. We really liked how he incorporated the audio from our ceremony throughout the video instead of just playing music the entire time. If you were not there, you felt like you were, when watching the video. I also highly recommend getting the ceremony and reception videos. It was so nice to watch back and see moments I would have forgotten otherwise. I could not recommend Andrew with Elevation Films enough! Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly, we will forever cherish them.

Hotel Peter and Paul

5.0

New Orleans, LA
  • Venue
  • Up to 350 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $20,000

After decades of rest, the great hall of Sts. Peter & Paul has been lovingly restored with carfeul attention. Built in 1861, every pane of stained glass is infused with history and every brick with stores of days past. The reverberant and resonant hall is located squarely in the Faubourg Marigny, the city's eclectic hub for art, cuisine, and entertainment and only a short walk (or second line) from Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter. The church has served as a haven and gathering place for over a century and a half, and now, we open her doors to you and yours. Access to the space for a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception includes a 4.5 hour event. We also welcome ceremony-only and reception-only events. Our venue is a part of the greater Hotel Peter and Paul, with 71 hotel rooms across three historic buildings, the former schoolhouse, convent and rectory. All are available to rent during your wedding weekend and to keep your guests close by for this momentous occasion.

You can feel the history and romance as soon as you step foot in this venue. It’s elegant and breathtaking. Very little decor needed to make your wedding spectacular. The hotel attached is also a wonderful place to stay and get ready on your wedding day. It was so fun running into guest in the halls. It felt like living in a dorm with all the people you love. The staff and service is excellent and the style is impeccable. Molly the event coordinator was quick to reply and very helpful in having wedding objects shipped to the hotel as we were coming from out of town. It doesn’t hurt that the Elysian bar is serving up some of the best cocktails in New Orleans (meaning some of the best in the world) right across the courtyard. Everything on the wedding day ran seamlessly. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location.

Royal Sonesta New Orleans

5.0

New Orleans, LA
  • Venue
  • Up to 400 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $8,500

Located on world-famous Bourbon Street, The Royal Sonesta New Orleans effortlessly combines timeless elegance and southern refinement, setting itself apart from other French Quarter hotels. 483 guest rooms and suites, authentic hospitality, a Food is Art philosophy, wrought-iron balconies, and a lush courtyard create an experience unlike any other. Treat yourself to any of our on-site dining and entertainment venues, such as Restaurant R'evolution, PJ's Coffee Cafe, Desire Oyster Bar, The Jazz Playhouse, and Le Booze. This hotel is more than a place to meet or stay. We’re a premier destination for unforgettable getaways, weddings, and business, or social events.

My fiance and I met on Bourbon St, so we knew we needed to get married there, but we didn't want it to be a spring break style dirty booze fest. We are so lucky to have found the Royal Sonesta, a true hidden gem. Getting married in the courtyard was a dream. The fountain was such a beautiful and elegant touch. Getting to do the Second Line around the hotel (the busiest block) was the coolest thing ever. My guests LOVED IT. The amount of people who stopped and danced with us was unreal. The food was the best I've ever had at a wedding, and so may of my guests told me so. The spread was insane, from cocktail hour to the raw bar...so delicious and epic. Get the chargrilled oyster attendant, people could not stop talking about and I felt so bougie. The cake was included in our wedding package and was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to eat it again on our anniversary! Now the best for last, the Royal Sonesta staff. We planned everything with Olivia, who sadly left a couple weeks before our big day, but Monique handled everything on our wedding day and was the kindest, most attentive queen. We love her forever! The planning process was a breeze, it felt like I was planning an epic party with a good friend. Olivia made an overwhelming process so fun and enjoyable! From the moment I checked in, everyone treated us and our family like royalty. There were so many small thoughtful touches, like cookies waiting in my mother in laws room. I'll cherish that day forever and so much of the reason is because of how special the Royal Sonesta made it.

Pigeon Caterers

5.0

New Orleans, LA
  • Caterer

For us it begins with a great taste. Food is our passion and you’ll be able to taste the difference with our one of a kind chef executed menus that are prepared using the freshest ingredients. Here at Pigéon Caterers, headquartered out of Mid-City, we pride ourselves with providing authentic New Orleans Cuisine as well as culinary favorites from around the country. With a commitment to an elevated level of service and innovative ideas for presentation, we have the capacity to fulfill the dream of any Bride or Meeting Planner. Whether we are catering a lavish wedding, or a large corporate event, our passion for excellence is one in the same.

Our venue provided catering as part of the inclusive wedding package. Pigeon was not the original caterer. They were brought on about 6-7 months after we signed our contract. Our venue was not great to work with. Communication was terrible, our contract turned out to be a mess with multiple dates listed, it took months of emails and phone calls before we got anywhere in the process. Shelley with Pigeon stepped in about 4 months before the wedding AND SAVED THE DAY!!! I felt so much better about the whole day when I was able to work with Pigeon directly. Shelley went above and beyond for our special day. The catering was fantastic. People are still talking about the boudin balls and shrimp and grits.

Donald & Keiko Duo

5.0

New Orleans, LA
  • Band or Ensemble
  • Starts at $750

Donald & Keiko Duo is a versatile ensemble perfect for wedding ceremonies, small wedding parties, wedding proposals, and private events as well. With our combined 40 years of musical expertise, we can play a wide range of music genres (jazz to r&b and pop songs) that will turn any wedding ceremony or cocktail hour into a magically memorable lifelong experience. We look forward to providing you with the music you deserve on your special day.

Donald and Keiko were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. I wanted to gift my niece a live performance during her wedding. They played before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and for the cocktail hour. Guests raved about the performance. We started late due to extenuating circumstances. Keiko and Donald were patient and were willing to adjust without fuss or hesitation. I am looking for other opportunities to book them again. They are highly, highly recommended. You won't be disappointed—Professional, Talented, and Overall Kind People. Keiko answered my many questions. They arrived at the venue early and were prepared. They exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use them again.

Willow's World Photo

5.0

New Orleans, LA
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,850

Though weddings do involve countless grand traditions, these time-honored rituals share space with some of the most quirky, silly, touching, and profoundly, uniquely personal experiences that a family will ever share. As a photojournalist, I'm there to capture these moments - all of the things that make your wedding YOUR wedding. Some of the details are elegant...some are fun...some might just be flat-out strange. But they're all a part of what makes you, your relationship, and your wedding unique. You put a lot of work into making your wedding a true reflection of your personality. My job is to do the exact same thing for your photos.

Willow was the first vendor I knew I wanted because her photos are so full of life and really bring you into the moment. I wanted to be able to relive my wedding day, not just have stiff formal photos to look through as the years pass. I got exactly what I wanted!! Every photo she took captured all the emotion from each moment (even the posed ones!). She was friendly, bubbly, real, and everywhere all at once. It was super hot in our venue but she didn’t let that stop her. Many of our guests commented how great she was and how just our sneak peak had them both crying and laughing looking through the memories. She was incredible all the way through. Thank you Willow!!!!!

Boucherie

5.0

New Orleans, LA
  • Caterer
  • Starts at $20 per person

Boucherie is a wedding catering business based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Specializing in preparing Southern-inspired meals for happy couples in and around the Big Easy, this company delights in complementing receptions with their distinctive dishes. With years of catering experience, this seasoned team is passionate about seeing newlyweds enjoy their favorite foods. All that is required of you is to tell them about your dream wedding meal, and they will work diligently to bring your ideas to fruition.

For our wedding we tried to stay away from the whole "wedding industrial complex" and work with real people, who provide real services to normal people. Boucherie, is first and foremost a great restaurant. We did a full restaurant buy out for our rehearsal dinner, and people from NY, Cali, Chalmette and New Orleans were all thoroughly impressed. The same was true of the food the night of the wedding. They crushed it. Sara, was an absolute joy to work with. She's a straight shooter which is I appreciated. Additionally, she went out of her way to make it special, to work with us, and to improve upon what we asked for. Her team the day of was great. Pro Tip: Charcuterie Board was a show stopper!
