LET'S HAVE THE PERFECT DAY! and I mean the most absolute most perfect wedding day. Put on your best dress or suit, with your fanciest shoes. Invite your closest friends and family to New Orleans – you know, all of the ones you collected along the way. Say some vows, grab a mint julep, and march in a second line parade down the middle of the French Quarter. Experience all those emotions as you not only marry your best friend, but just have the perfect New Orleans wedding day. And us? Yeah... we will photograph every single second of it.

The Eau is pronounced just as it is in Eau de Parfum. Eau is French for Water. Claire in French means clear. It’s Sandra’s surname. Sandra’s family is French Canadian. When her grandparents moved to the states, the spelling turned into a very Irish looking O’Claire. Sandra chose to name her photography business with the original spelling of her surname.
We are located in the Lakeview area of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Eau Claire Photographics, LLC was established in New Orleans in June of 2002.
We usually photograph weddings separately. We have a team of four assistant photographers who work with us on a regular basis as second photographers. Depending on our schedules we will sometimes photograph wedding dates together.
Yes, absolutely. We have photographed weddings in 18 states and internationally. Sandra is originally from South Eastern WI, and we are available to photograph weddings in Milwaukee or the greater Chicago area with little or no travel fees.
On average our clients book with us between 6-18 months. Please don’t let that discourage you from inquiring if your wedding date is under 6 months, as we may still have availability. We book up super fast in the popular months for weddings in New Orleans which are March, April, October and November – and lately, even December.
We offer packages with one or two photographers. If you have a smaller event with 50 guests in one location, usually just one photographer is fine. If you have a large wedding with multiple locations and 300 guests you will need two photographers. We will help recommend what is needed for your exact wedding size and plans.
Yes, all of our packages come with touched up hi-resolution digital images with a print release. All packages also include and online gallery and thumbnail proof book.
You’l be able to view your photos about 60 days after the wedding. Bridal and Engagement sessions are completed at about 20 days.
Yes, absolutely.
If in New Orleans, we have probably photographed at your venue multiple times. We have lots of venue examples in our Journal section. Don’t see it in there? Just ask, we’d love to send you a full wedding example of your venue. We also can help recommend the perfect photographic locations in New Orleans for getting ready photos, first looks and portraits.
To officially reserve your wedding date with us, we ask for a 25% retainer and a signed contract.
