The Rustic Barn Venue was established in 2017 and has been the home of weddings, corporate gatherings, birthdays and many other events ever since. We offer personalized service and a first-rate venue to be the backdrop for your special occasion. Our unique venue boasts an event center "show barn" built in the 1940's for indoor receptions, ready rooms atop a converted corn crib, outdoor ceremony seating with pergola, grain bin bar and beautifully manicured lawns and gardens.

With its breathtaking grass landscapes and golf course views, prairie links event center is a picturesque backdrop for your wedding ceremony or reception. Brand new in 2019, our outdoor ceremony and reception space offers breathtaking views backlit by suspended canopy lighting. Lounge in the outdoor patio space, utilize our outdoor bar, or take the party outside with our outdoor dance floor.

We're located in the heart of Downtown Cedar Falls, so your guests will love exploring the District's shops, bars and restaurants before and after your wedding. We are also the only locally-owned hotel the Cedar Valley, and pride ourselves on being local experts. Our guests routinely compliment our Midwestern Hospitality! We are nearly a one-stop-shop for your wedding festivities, and can check off the major services you need to host a celebration to remember. But, we don't require you use our services; just select what fits your vision. We offer rental of the lobby and bar in the historic hotel, catering services, cakes, bar service, event planning, day-of coordination, hotel room blocks, bridal/getting ready suites and honeymoon suites.

Since our origin on October 12, 1894, the Waterloo Elks Lodge 290 has established itself as a charitable organization throughout our long and prestigious history. By incorporating the four stations of fidelity, brotherly love, charity and justice, the Waterloo Elks have played and will continue to play an active role in the community and Elkdom. As a nonprofit, all money we raise supports veterans, youth and community. The Elks purchased this property in 1917 from the Julian Richards estate. The building was one of the finest oil residences in the city, being well-constructed and large enough to accommodate the lodge temporarily. The building was remodeled to accommodate a ballroom; members bar and card room and billiard room. In the basement there were four bowling alleys, a gymnasium, grill, kitchen and serving pantry, along with showers, lockers and the boiler rooms. The building was dedicated with a cornerstone in 1924, the year the Elks started using it as their Lodge.

The endless valley of lush green space includes an elegant banquet hall and a team of talented staff to give couples the wedding of their dreams. Fox Ridge is a premier 18-hole golf course just seven miles away from the city of Cedar Falls. Engaged couples are welcome to spend milestones on their journey to married life on the site, from wedding showers to the after-dinner party. The banquet room on location has over 8,000 square feet of space available for both the ceremony and reception. Glassware, flatware, white linens, and chair covers will be available to you, and staff will work to accommodate any special requests. All catering is done on site, and has a variety of options to choose from. A team of skilled bartenders will provide you and your guests with delicious wine and cocktails, whether you want an open, limited, or cash bar. While eight different beer selections are always on tap, the staff can provide hosted or specialty kegs to keep the suds flowing.
