Stone Spring Farms is nestled at the foot of Blue Mountain, among the rolling hills of a working crop farm in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The foundations of the barn were first laid in the 1820’s, with the current structure built in the 1930’s. Once a large orchard, the farm continues to be an operating crop farm. Renovations of this historic barn and property provide updated conveniences while still remaining true to its natural charm. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors. Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is a 134-acre nature preserve, botanical garden, and accredited museum. Today, the preserve contains over 700 of the 2,000 plant species native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley, growing in a naturalistic setting of woodlands, meadows, ponds and Pidcock Creek, with about 4.5 miles of walking trails. It is an excellent site for bird-watching. The preserve was established in 1934 within the Washington Crossing Historic Park at the site where George Washington‘s army camped during the American Revolutionary War. Just five miles south of the preserve, Washington and his men crossed the Delaware River to fight and win the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

The Highlands offers a unique setting for your special day. Only 17 miles north of downtown Philadelphia, on top of a hill sits The Highlands. Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

Bolingbroke Mansion was built fifty years before the American Declaration of Independence and is just fifteen miles from where that historic event took place. This location has six event rooms, including several excellent outdoor ceremonies and reception locations. Indoors, the mansion can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. You'll find a beautiful staircase in their gardens that provides a stunning backdrop for photos. There is a side porch overlooking the sprawling green lawns and giant trees for cocktails and receptions. Stone-raised stairs and a landing in their memorial garden provide the ideal backdrop for any wedding ceremony, speech, or picture session.
