Imagine your wedding in a picturesque Carlisle, PA rural setting with an elegant grand ballroom to delight your guests along with a fabulous glass enclosed atrium and a huge outdoor reception area and terrace with a magnificent garden and plenty of parking. Whether you are celebrating a wedding, anniversary, reunion, social, corporate event or any other occasion, you should consider Whispering Pines of Carlisle Banquet Center as the setting to create your ever lasting memories.

I can’t say enough about how fantastic of a wedding we had at the Carlisle Pines. Tracey and Deb and the staff were wonderful to work with and helped us not only through our special evening but were there to work with us through payments, planning and organizing. They were patient with us and some of the best most honest people to work with. The venue is in a great secluded location with ample parking. There was plenty of space at the location for our party of 100 and could easily accommodate more. All throughout the night we received so many compliments of how nice the venue was. We can’t recommend this place enough for a wedding or even a corporate event or party. The photos don’t do the place justice for how nice it is. Thank you for everything!

Cacapon Resort State Park

5.0

Berkeley Springs, WV
  • Up to 190 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $35

Our venue offers a memorable, romantic and serene natural setting amidst the rolling hills of West Virginia. Sitting in the shadows of the highest peak in the eastern portion of West Virginia. Cacapon Resort State Park offers 6,000 acres of exciting outdoor getaways all year-round. The word Cacapon is a derivative of a Shawnee Indian word meaning "medicine waters," a reference to the area's mineral waters that have been renowned throughout history for their healing powers. The park is frequented by both nature lovers and adventure seekers from around the state, as well as nearby cities such as Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Cacapon Resort is also a draw for history buffs due to its proximity to the historic town of Berkeley Springs and Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Extend your stay by booking a room at the park’s recently renovated lodge — the newest in the state park system, in a cabin, or the restored Old Inn.

We booked our April wedding at Cacapon and it was perfect. We booked the Old Inn for the Rehearsal Dinner and as a place for us and the bridal party to stay. The ceremony took place out on the terrace and the reception was inside the ballroom. Everything was perfect!

Glen Ellen Farm is gorgeous! The venue was amazing. All our guests complimented the beauty of Glen Ellen, and our pictures are beautiful. A great mix of different settings - a pond view, a little sandy beach area, a flower garden, rustic stone ruins. Debbie, the owner, is great to work with and very responsive!

The Stone Mill 1792

5.0

Glenville, PA
  • Up to 175 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,000

The Stone Mill 1792 is a historic and intimate wedding and events venue, nestled on 10 acres in the wooded valleys of York County, PA. The venue consists of the original 18th-century mill building, scenic ceremony lawns, and a 3200 square-foot event tent with permanent Brazilian Walnut deck flooring. Over the past decade, “The Mill” has been lovingly restored to provide a perfect blend of 18th-century details, natural beauty and modern amenities, while tucked away in a park-like setting.

My daughter was married this past June at The Stone Mill 1792. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and my daughter's wedding was everything she dreamed it would ever be. Matthew and Michael are amazing to work with and I would highly recommend this beautiful venue not just for the wedding but also for the wedding reception.
