Situated in the pine trees of Nacogdoches, Texas, our 1914 registered historic church was home to one of the oldest African American congregations in the state. Built by famed architect Diedrich Rulfs, Zion Hill Baptist Church is the embodiment of timeless Southern elegance and simplicity. The church has been restored over the years to its former glory and updated with modern heating and cooling systems, security systems, and handicap accessibility so that it may continue to be a pillar of the community through historical preservation and social engagement. The Guru, a unique event space in Baton Rouge that doubles as a community center, is located in the Circa 1857 complex on Government and 19th Streets just across from The Garden District. Housed in an original 1920s mechanics garage, The Guru is a fusion of funky and serene.

601 Spring Event Center is located in the historic George T. Bishop Building at the intersection of Spring and Milam streets in downtown Shreveport. Our venue — rich with history and tradition — provides the perfect setting for any meeting, reception, celebration or ceremony. The building was constructed in the early part of the 20th Century and has had several owners and usages. One of the more notable was George T. Bishop, a successful automobile dealer who purchased the property in 1925. Elegantly refurbished with spectacular coffered ceilings, hand-carved woodwork, inlaid earthenware tiles, bronze chandeliers and solid wood cathedral- style doors, the Bishop Building was impressively opulent for Shreveport. Ironically, decades later another illustrious occupant of the building was the Ark-La-Tex Antique and Classic Vehicle Museum after which the building in the late 20th Century became known locally as the ‘antique car museum.’

We designed our one-of-a-kind reception ballroom to give you the feel of sitting outside under the Tuscan sky. In Italy, a Piazza is known as a second home and as such is absolutely the best meeting point where you will probably find a group of people enjoying their time. Our beautifully created piazza-style reception room is no exception.
