Doug talked with us several times throughout our planning process to help us think through the reception - specifically the flow and the feeling of each moment. At our final detail meeting, Doug and Andrew helped us finalize and ramp up some ideas we had been working on (rating speeches using giant numbers that the bridal party held up, us-themed bar trivia during dinner, kiss cam instead of traditional glass-clinking kisses) and also gave us options to add on his Freedom Sticks (party lighting to help make the room/dance floor fun) and several Polaroid cameras and a book to store the pictures in. We took advantage of both and were so happy we did! On the day of the event, Doug took the role of MC and walking around the room to get pictures of people/get everyone involved and Andrew took on the role of primary DJ. Together, they were such a fun team that really brought the party to life! We had SO MANY compliments on how fun they were and I have recommended them to all of my friends with upcoming weddings!! After the call, my fiancé said that musician you spoke with made you so happy you better just hurry up and hire her. I never even spoke to another musician…I knew none could even come close to Erica. I hired Erica in July for my December Disney wedding. I never felt rushed, overwhelmed or anything stressful. Erica is so kind, her voice is ethereal and she knows how to read a room. She even recommended an amazing officiant to me when I was struggling to find one. Erica was the hit of my wedding, when she started singing to open the ceremony a bird flew up to her, perched next to her and sang with her. Even the bird wanted to be close to her and felt her kindness. This was the most beautiful moment and my guests are still talking about it. I wanted a Disney/Christmas wedding theme and Erica delivered in every aspect. She was also beautifully dressed and looked gorgeous (nobody wants sloppy vendors lol). Erica created the perfect atmosphere by intertwining romantic Disney music as well as Christmas songs. Erica made the wedding a dream come true. The fact that she is well known also helps, as most vendors and venues love working with her. She learned a few new songs for me and worked seamlessly with my other vendors to create the perfect, yes absolutely perfect, day. Thank you Erica! You are a true star!”

It was a little nerve racking having a meeting so close to the big day but Terrell and Derek both made us feel comfortable that everything would go smoothly. On the day of the wedding Terrell was at a venue he has never worked at before but set up and communication was seamless. He kept the party going and had the dance floor packed all night (one of the most important things for us that night).
