In December of 2010, the greatest gift of my life was born, a baby boy we named Davis. Davis was truly my inspiration for getting into photography. After Davis was born, I became obsessed with getting professional photos of him. Whippoorwill Hill is a hidden treasure 6 miles from downtown Bloomington, Indiana. The property includes a stunning 300 person capacity, timber frame wedding barn originally constructed in 1892, and a farm house and barn built in the 1840s. The working farm is completely secluded and is the perfect location for any event from intimate ceremonies, to barn parties, to romantic receptions.

Built in 1879 our tobacco barn is the perfect venue for you beautiful rustic wedding. The Guthrie Mansion is situated next to the wedding barn and the exterior can be used for one of several ceremony locations. There is a bridal room and cabin rentals available for bride and guests. There are 2 floors in the wedding barn, a bar, prep kitchen area and dance floor as well as a beautiful large deck overlooking 125 acres of beautiful property.

In summer of 2018, we moved again, this time to our own event space, One World at Woolery Mill. This is an elegant country wedding venue, perfect for any bride. The beauty of The Loft At Walnut Hill Farm, LLC. is that in one location, couples may host both an indoor or outdoor ceremony followed by a reception. The venue has a Dutch Hoop Barn with a walk-in loft that’s nice for a ceremony or reception. The cottage doubles as a home base for the bridal party on the wedding day (to get ready or hang out a bit) as well as a place for the couple to stay the night of the wedding. The climate-controlled Loft has a deck overlooking the pavilion and surroundings. The pavilion may accommodate up to 250, and it has a climate-controlled kitchen. There are additional outdoor settings to consider for outdoor weddings, both as the location and as a photo backdrop.

Originally built by Henry Woolery in 1930, Woolery Mill has been transformed into an industrial chic venue with modern amenities. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2002, the mill is a former A.J. Woolery & Sons quarry with a variety of buildings, structures, and objects originally used for limestone production. The mill shut down production in 1996 and the property has been vacant since. Woolery Mill offers one the most inclusive and unique wedding experiences in southern Indiana all while maintaining the highest standards. The newly renovated architectural genius boasts soaring ceilings, massive exposed beams and an incredible amount of natural light.
