Mika Liechti-Hawkins
I am an Indiana Wedding and Portrait photographer based in Bloomington serving couples and families in Indiana and beyond. I love capturing the unfiltered, unposed moments to document your authentic love. I wanna help share your love story in a way you can cherish for years to come! From engagement sessions to timeline planning, all the way to cutting the cake, I’ll be there for you!

The Simple Package

This is for couples with a limited budget. The package is great for small, intimate weddings and if the ceremony and reception are in the same location.

This is more for an average-sized wedding with the extra time included. The photographer can capture the tail end of getting ready and take some detail shots. This would work if the ceremony and reception are in different locations.

With the extra time, the photographer will be on-site for most of the day This gives plenty of time to capture getting ready and detail shots, as well as any other photographs before the ceremony. Perfect for multiple locations for portraits, the ceremony, and the reception.

Microweddings & Elopement
2 hours
Peak pricing $1,000
Micro weddings (aka intimate weddings) and elopements start at 2 hours which allow couples to have a more budget-friendly event without the huge costs of having a lot of vendors. This is the most intimate and personal setting with immediate family and close friends. Couples don’t have to worry about a ton of guests to manage and a ton of vendors.

August 2024 Wedding
Mika was so wonderful to work with for our August 2024 wedding. Even from seeing her work beforehand, we fell in love with her style. Even my dress shop instantly loved it too! On that day, Mika was so professional and helpful with all of the poses and being willing to shoot at multiple sites. Mika was able to turn around the preview extremely quickly and the full gallery in a timely matter, as well. The results are stunning and timeless. We will be buying prints for us and our families! Thanks, Mika!
Wedding Review 2024
Mika was heaven sent. She was so calm and professional!! She did little helpful things like held my dress or bouquet. We are still blown away by our wedding photos! 10/10 highly recommended!

We had an all-inclusive micro-wedding at Ivory Foundry back in November 2023, and Mika was our assigned photographer. Considering we went the “all-inclusive” route, we did not get to pick who our photographer was, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Let me say…I could not be happier with how our photos turned out! Mika did such a phenomenal job and I will absolutely be calling her for future photography needs. Even the day-of coordination, Mika was amazing to work with! We were running behind schedule at one point because hair & makeup took too long. We’d planned on going to a nearby park to get sunset pictures, but I was nervous we wouldn’t have time. Mika sprung into action, grabbed her keys, and drove us there. We tackled our couples photos as we waited for the rest of our wedding party to show up. Mika also did a great job of herding our families and friends into group photos after the ceremony. Mika gave us our “sneak peaks” within 48 hours, and returned all of our photos about 8-weeks after our wedding date. (Which is pretty standard for the industry, but Thanksgiving and Christmas immediately followed our wedding too so she may be even quicker when its not the holiday season!) After she returned the photos, I had two small requests, which she handled in a timely manner. I truly can’t recommend Mika enough!
The BEST!
Mika is the absolute BEST to work with! She takes away all the stress when it comes to posing and did a fantastic group getting in the moment shots of our huge wedding party. Mika is so easy to communicate with and is so much fun. She captured our love and personalities in such a beautiful way, and even secured some BOMB photos of our dog. I could not be happier with our photos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will definitely be using Mika's services again in the future!!
