With a focus on local, seasonal, healthy, and delicious options, our menu offers a selection of California cuisine with options for cocktail hour, buffet, family style or plated. In 1994, Just Dance Ballroom began its operation near Downtown Oakland with the vision to spread the love of dance to many and all. Over the decade, the Just Dance Ballroom family grew bigger, and thus, the dream to relocate to a grand space came to fruition on September 16, 2006. Since then, Just Dance Ballroom has shared its halls with dancers, entertainers, family, and friends from all around the world. With 26 years (and counting) of experience under its belt, Just Dance Ballroom is proud to be considered by many to be the destination for dance and entertainment in the Bay Area.

With whimsical sets, 10 acres of beautifully tended gardens, colored fairy lights, and a picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Merritt, our park is the ideal venue for a one-of-a-kind wedding. The Oakland Scottish Rite Center was completed in 1927, with over a thousand craftsmen working on the project. The construction cost was approximately $1.5 million. This was a sizeable sum at the time equivalent to about $22 million today. From ground breaking to completion the edifice was erected in just two years. This is the second temple in Oakland built from the ground up by the Scottish Rite Masonic fraternity since 1883, when it was first chartered in Oakland.

Our venue is centered in the heart of the UC Berkeley Campus. Built in the 1950's, Alumni House has a cozy and warm atmosphere, ready to welcome all alumns, friends, and newcomers to campus. The event space consists of both indoor and an outdoor areas. The Toll Room is a large open space preserved in its original mid century modern aesthetic with a full wall of sliding glass doors. It opens on to the patio surrounded by mature trees that create a charming canopy decorated with string lights. Surrounded by towering red woods, and a trickling creek, you can have the best of both worlds: an outdoor space with the convenience of being close to the city. Our wedding package includes access to entire event space including an indoor event space, patio, and kitchen.

La Note is an authentic Provençal restaurant located in the vibrant heart of California. Since 1997 La Note has serviced the Berkeley community and is thankful for all of the people and companies that have been here for us.

COMAL is a gathering place located in Berkeley’s bustling Arts District, just north of the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. The restaurant is housed in a single-story building (circa 1927) and features a lush, secluded rear patio with a full bar, covered dining area, and al fresco beer garden with fire pit. Executive Chef Matt Gandin creates earthy, modern interpretations of dishes from throughout Mexico, with emphasis on Oaxaca and neighboring coastal regions. We offer an “all-Mexican” list of craft cocktails, house-made sangritas paired with our curated collection of agave spirits, and a diverse selection of local beer and wine on tap.

Oakland has always been a beer town. Once known as the "Milwaukee of the West,” it's a place where hard-working people gather to enjoy locally brewed, fresh beer. Founded in 2009 as Linden Street Brewery, we became the first community-based production brewery in Oakland since Golden West Brewery closed in the 1950s. In 2017, we moved to the Jack London District and rebranded as Oakland United Beerworks. Today, we are proud to continue The Town's great brewing tradition. We have a two tiered indoor space with the upper level mezzanine overlooking the brewery. Seating for approximately 70 people indoors with seating for another 40 people outdoors.
