“I loved working with Jasmine for my wedding hair and makeup! From start to finish, she was super professional, incredibly responsive, and a clear communicator. Her makeup looks are beautiful and I chose to go with her signature soft glam with curled hair pinned back on one side. She did a fantastic job during the trial and the day of. After the trial, Jasmine was great at asking for my feedback and incorporating it into the final look for my wedding day. She's also mindful of tailoring her approach to your specific needs to help her work last longer. Make sure to tell her about your skin type and any specific concerns, like curls falling out of your hair easily, or oily eyelids for myself which might have affected the longevity of one eye's eyeshadow. Aside from that and a couple other minor touch ups needed throughout the day (grateful for her touch up kit!), the rest of my hair and makeup stayed all night long on my wedding day. I loved my look and thought it was even better than the trial! Even though she isn't a professional hairstylist, Jasmine really nailed it with my hair. It stayed flawless all day and night, despite the dress changes and jewelry adjustments throughout the day and I received multiple compliments on my hair! She's also easy going and nice to talk to - I really enjoyed the time spent chatting with her while getting ready in the morning. It was a great, peaceful way to start the busy day. Jasmine also helped do 2 of my bridesmaid's hair and did a beautiful job. One of them said that she has a really hard time getting curls to hold, but her hairstyle lasted all night long. I'm so grateful for Jasmine's help and would recommend her to any bride looking for a talented and personable HMUA!”

“Ngan's team did hair & makeup for myself, my maid of honor, my sister, and my mom for my wedding at the Claremont Hotel on 10/12/24. I found Ngan through Zola- she stood out because her website was very straightforward (both pictures and prices included) and because her pictures were aligned from what I wanted ("my face but better"). I also specifically wanted someone who could do both hair and makeup since it was one less vendor to worry about finding. Ngan clearly knows what she's doing. Her emails are VERY detailed and straightforward. I did the trial 2 weeks before and she was extremely patient in making sure I looked how I wanted and made adjustments as necessary. I would highly recommend doing the trial- it made getting ready smoother before the wedding, plus my fiance (now husband) and I took advantage of the results of the trial to do a nice dinner later :). Ngan did my hair and makeup for the wedding while a senior assistant (Marilyn) did hair and makeup for my MoH, sister, and mom. It was a very relaxed but productive atmosphere- my sister and MoH literally were doing their nails on the floor of my hotel room while the rest of us got our hair and makeup done. There were multiple conversations going on among the five of us, and it felt pretty natural. Marilyn also made some recs regarding my mom's hair since it was on the shorter side and she wanted curls, but the pictures I found on Pinterest were for hair slightly longer than hers, and my mom ended up looking great! She looked really happy. I'm only giving Ngan and one other vendor I worked with for the wedding five stars- she and Marilyn were such a great fit for us. Her pricing is also VERY fair, especially with how happy we were with the results. 100% would recommend to others!”

My wife and I got married in Saratoga, California a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't have been more thrilled with Kim, Lupe, and Steven. We got hair and makeup for ourselves and our bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids, and even a little kid makeup for our flower girls. Our priorities were to feel present on our wedding day and to feel like ourselves, just a little more polished. We don't wear makeup on a day to day basis, and so we didn't want fake lashes or extensions. Kim worked with us to help us achieve our vision for our hair and makeup and encouraged us to give her extensive notes about what we didn't like at our preview (SO hard to do as a people pleaser, but Kim created a safe space where we were able to do so). My wife Ali thought she wanted a glowy look, but ended up going completely non-glowy on wedding day and LOVED it. She struggles to have her hair hold a curl for more than an hour, and Kim did such a good job her hair was still wavy the morning after the wedding after sleeping on it all night! I found out at our preview how particular I am about having my makeup done, and Kim let me do my eyeliner and eyebrows myself on our wedding day. It was the perfect balance of feeling pampered by Kim but still feeling in control of the things I am very picky about! Both of us have very sensitive scalps, and Kim made sure each and every pin felt comfortable and wasn't pinching. It made a HUGE difference in our stamina throughout our long crazy wedding to not have the added sensory nightmare of pins buried in our heads. Full disclosure, Kim is a dear friend of mine. But she and her team also hit it off with the rest of our bridal party! They're in selfies taken while getting ready, and they even got our shy junior bridesmaids chatting and laughing.
