Gussied is a full service wedding band that offers ceremony, cocktail, dinner, dancing music, and more. Instead of trying to duplicate a song you've heard on the radio, we "gussy it up" into our own bluegrass inspired own style. We play farms, barns, wineries, swanky lofts, country clubs and everything in between - even summer camps! We also play destination weddings, festivals and private events. No party is too small or too big. We have a professional sound team and various music packages to suit all of your needs.

I've been a pianist my entire life and found I had an ear for DJing in 2000. Mixing and transitioning just seemed inherent and I enjoyed it. My love for music led me to start playing for small gatherings, non-profits and eventually larger events. Music was always in my life, so today I work professionally as a full-time Wedding & Events DJ, pianist and MC. I'm happy to be working with so many great clients, schools and companies. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.
