FloralMinds Designs

5.0

  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Monroe, OR

Hi, I'm Christin! Let's create something amazing! I have been a floral designer since 2006, when I got my start as the florist for Albertsons. Now, I am a freelance floral designer with a home studio. I am able to create everyday arrangements, memorial pieces, installations, and wearables, but enjoy weddings and events the most. Letting my creativity flow into large installments, such as arbor pieces, is my favorite thing to do! I mainly serve the Willamette Valley and Portland area but I am willing to travel!

Awarded Best of Zola
FloralMinds Designs did a phenomenal job with the flowers for our wedding. Cristin was extremely responsive over email and text, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. She clearly has an incredible talent and artistry when it comes to floral arrangements. My bouquet was absolutely stunning - fresh, vibrant flowers that looked like they were straight out of a magazine. Even days later, the flowers still looked pristine. The centerpieces and other decor Cristin designed perfectly captured the romantic, classic vibe I was going for. Multiple guests came up to compliment the flowers and ask who our florist was. I'm so thankful to my wedding planner for connecting me with FloralMinds. Cristin helped make our wedding not just beautiful, but unforgettable. I would highly recommend her services to any bride looking for a florist who delivers amazing work yet is still warm and personable.

Olive & Twine Floral Co.

5.0

  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Monroe, OR

I have worked every aspect of the event planning and floral industry for over a decade. Aa a Bay Area local, I’ve apprenticed with local bakers, caterers, florists, and event coordinators since the age of 16. I’ve always been drawn to work with my hands, work with beautiful materials, and celebrating the opportunity to bring joy into others lives.

Olivia did an incredible job as our wedding florist! We hired her based on her portfolio and were not at all disappointed! She was a wonderful communicator and met with us multiple times via zoom to make sure we were on the same page. She was timely and professional, with a perfect balance of friendliness and ease to work with, both in the meetings and in person! She was kind and worked around us while we were sharing the same space to set up the day before. 10/10 - highly recommend!! If we every need another florist for an event, we will use her again!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Monroe, OR

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

I ordered the silk magnolia bouquet (Shelbie Bridal Bouquet - Hand tied) and opted for the scent to be added. They arrived and already looked perfect with very minimal fluffing/adjustment. I was nervous the scent would be strong or too artificial but it was light and natural. They photographed beautifully and let me have a taste of home with the magnolias all the way across the country. Gorgeous.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Monroe, OR

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The BEST most nerve wracking decision we made for our big day!!! I was so nervous to go this route but trusted my gut and I’m so glad I did. FM was incredible at walking me through the process and the full service package is worth WAY more than what you pay for it. I felt incredibly prepared for flower arrival from all the phone calls, videos, and paperwork they sent including detailed recipes and schedule for the week. We had some hiccups with Hurricanes and delayed shipping. They called me to initially tell me they would be a day early. Then when they didn’t arrive called again and explained they’d been held up in customs(obviously no ones fault). They then sent out an entire extra box of blooms to be sure we got everything we needed. Flowers were beautiful!!! Spending time with my sisters and family putting them together was truly the most fun wedding prep. My guests and coordinator truly couldn’t believe we had done all our own flowers, and the best part??! We saved ourselves literally thousands!! We would recommend FM to anyone for any occasion anytime.

We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms! Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! I cannot recommend Carly, owner of Mod & Mae, enough. She was absolutely amazing and created the most STUNNING set of whimsical, dahlia-centric bouquets for our wedding. I’m still looking at photos of them because of how obsessed I am. We were really budget conscious with our flowers and she worked with us to help envision how we could repurpose bouquets for table decor and stayed for hours to ensure they got placed in the most elegant way post-ceremony. I feel like many of my friends had florists who just dropped their flowers off and left but Carly stayed to help ensure everything was perfect. Carly you are a ray-of-sunshine thank you for everything!

I couldn't help but notice that all were lifted up by her presence and smiles. Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs Flower Preservation

5.0

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Monroe, OR

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. Our business, our products, and our partnership is all about balance, Contessa is the Sarcasm, Danielle is the Sunshine. Some days, we switch roles, but we think life is better with both!

Having my wedding flowers preserved was extremely important to me. To be able to keep something perfectly preserved that was so beautiful on my special day is unreal. Danielle is the kindest and easiest person to work with. She gets back to you within seconds and listens to any and every crazy request I had. Along with a tray, wine stopper, ornament, and book mark, Danielle was able to take part of my Mother’s wedding dress (that was wrapped around my bouquet) and preserve it in a jewelry box with my flowers. Let me tell you, the reaction my mom had on her face when I gave her that jewelry box was indescribable. If you are ever second guessing preserving your wedding flowers, this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it! Sarcasm and Sunshine’s work is impeccable and I hope that others are able to have their flowers preserved with such care and precision as I was able to have mine.

5.0

  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Monroe, OR for additional fees

We are a mother /daughter duo who nearly spend every waking minute thinking about, dreaming up and planning beautiful ways to celebrate love with flowers and creating dreamlike immersive guests experiences.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with the beautifully created space Merry designed and executed for our wedding! We were married in our contemporary church, a challenging space to develop intimacy and gentle beauty. After consulting with Merry, we immediately felt she comprehended our vision. We quickly moved forward with a floral color palette and she offered helpful design advise, developing a floral arch on the buffet table which we used on the stage. The result was whimsical, romantic and created a lovely backdrop for our photos. My bouquet brought tears to my eyes, just the right touch of color to accent my ivory dress. We highly recommend Merry and Flora, start to finish our expectations were met and exceeded, eliminating stress and creating memories of our special day which we will always treasure!

First off, we HIGHLY recommend Carolyn and Folk Art Flowers for anyone looking for a florist!! Carolyn is easy to work with and has such an amazing eye for design. You will not regret choosing her as your florist!! Like many people in 2020, our wedding was derailed and the entire year became something of a planning fiasco. We were calling vendors left and right trying to properly postpone but also still trying to have the wedding of our dreams. Carolyn was the absolute dream floral vendor for us!! She was so supportive and flexible of helping us find our new dates but also staying in sync with us on potential design changes due to new wedding dates spewing up left and right. We moved our wedding date three times which meant we had a wedding in three different seasons and different florals. However, Carolyn kept the original floral vision alive with her knowledge of the kind of florals that grow for the different seasons. It was amazing to see and the end result was SPECTACULAR!! She was the perfect planning partner to have alongside us and we cannot emphasize enough how helpful and kind she was. We proudly and unequivocally recommend Carolyn and Folk Art Flowers to everyone and anyone!! Book her today!!

Our flowers were so beautiful. She was, not only, able to accommodate my vision of my bridesmaids making their own bouquets, she also added on an altarpiece very last minute. I would recommend her again and again. Literally only ONE complaint, she was late meeting with my family, but I’m absolutely sure that was a one off :)
