“Where do I even begin with Quinn? He went SO above and beyond just "making a playlist". Are a couple planning for a wedding, thinking - like we were - that we could just make a playlist and rent a speaker system and it would do the same thing as a DJ? You're wrong. Quinn did SO much more. He did a phone consultation with us a week before the wedding and made recommendations for things we didn't even think of. A song to play in the background while cutting cake? He had three off the top of his head. He was diligent of the timeline but flexible. He brought a sense of calm to the entire day by getting to the venue early, double checking the sound system, making sure that he was on the same page as the officiant, and keeping the wedding party on track. After the whole wedding party walked down the aisle, Quinn came and checked on me and my dad and - since we didn't have a planner/coordinator - he even did me the favor of fluffing my train before walking down the aisle. Quinn perfectly timed our grand entrance / first dance song. He read the room during the entire evening and - while we gave him a playlist of songs to help him understand the vibe we were going for - he played stuff outside the playlist when the reception called for it. He made announcements in a charming and welcoming way about the bar closing during dinner, toasts as they were coming up, and the private last dance. He even went around to each table to send them up for the buffet instead of announcing it over the mic. Quinn was the perfect DJ for us, but he was also so much more - he was an integral part of our day that I am so grateful to have found. Cannot recommend him enough.”

“We had Terrell as our DJ for our wedding and could not be more happy with him! It was a little nerve racking having a meeting so close to the big day but Terrell and Derek both made us feel comfortable that everything would go smoothly. On the day of the wedding Terrell was at a venue he has never worked at before but set up and communication was seamless. He kept the party going and had the dance floor packed all night (one of the most important things for us that night). We didn't give him a playlist; just more like some guidelines and he did an amazing job. He came up to me and my husband to ensure we were happy (and even fed!). He communicated with me and the photographer to ensure all the big moments were captured before the photographer had to leave which was so nice because the thought to do that had not even occurred to me. “I don’t even know where to begin — Mike was a highlight of our wedding experience from the time of booking to even now after our wedding has wrapped up. He is a class act, someone who really listens and values you, not just as a client but as a person. We left each call being so appreciative of his kindness (something that can often be left out in the wedding industry) and in awe of his talent/wedding expertise. He helped us curate an amazing reception flow and welcomed our ideas with open arms. Walking into our cocktail hour to his live acoustic set is something I’ll never forget. Our guests were amazed! From our dinner playlist, he shuffled the perfect variety of our favorite songs it had me in tears the entire time. How he handled our announcements and all MC-ing throughout the evening was like nothing I’d seen photographing weddings over the past 5 years — a complete contrast to the flashy, showy MC taglines that feel like you’re being announced into a boxing arena, lol. That wasn’t for us and that also isn’t Mike’s style. We felt like the guests of honor and like each of our planned dances were equally as important to him that they went smoothly and were a special moment for our families. For example, my dad was nervous for his welcome toast and asked for a microphone on a stand instead of handheld. I watched Mike’s assistant literally *run* out to their car and back to accommodate in record time. The dance floor was packed and the songs Mike chose from our playlist were a perfect balance of the genres we love. Mike checked in with us about song/vibe suggestions and was the best advocate for what *we* wanted all day long. (This is the impact of getting to know your clients well!) At the end of the night, Mike organized our remaining guests into an exit tunnel following our private last dance and it was the best way to end the night. While we didn’t want the party to end, we will ALWAYS recommend Mike wherever we can so we can enjoy his talents again. After the wedding Mike sent us a collection of videos and photos he took throughout the day and we will always cherish them. He also wrote us the most thoughtful card and a gift that again, brought me to tears. Last thing - a little thing that might go overlooked - his equipment, lighting and set up, are SO good. Very tasteful set up and the light effects took the party to the next level. Ok! I could go on and on! But I’ll leave with this THANK YOU, Mike and your team for every little thing. We are so grateful.”
