The Marr family bought Marsgate in 2010 and since then it has been the site of many unforgettable get-togethers with loved ones. Marsgate is located on a property spanning more than 70 acres with 20,000 square feet of space for weddings.

For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

Azalea Cove Waterside is located on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. We have great indoor spaces that can comfortably seat more than 60 for an after-rehearsal dinner and the main building can handle about 100. Outside are several covered pavilions, all with great views of the water and surrounding gardens and forest. There is plenty of room in a covered pavilion and around the swimming pools for a reception for about 300. We include tables & chairs but couples can choose their own caterer, florist, photographer, bartender, etc. for maximum flexibility though our on site wedding designer can assist and handle rentals if desired. Cove Acre Farms was a working livestock farm for much of the 20th century, and still bears the character of those years. It was transformed into an event venue in 2014 by the Wright family. The Johnson family purchased the farm in early 2018 and have since turned it to one of the most unique wedding barns in Alabama. The barn is surrounded by farmland as far as can be seen, with a clear creek that flows through the property year round. The barn is approximately 14,000 square feet including two large, open balconies. The lower level includes bride and groom rooms with private baths. You may hold your event where you would like on the property, though we do have a few suggestions. The barn offers a large room downstairs, and a beautiful wooden dance floor and stage upstairs for indoor events. Outdoor options include: a lovely arbor in a manicured lawn, in front of mature hardwood trees, or one of several creek-side settings.

The Cedars is an event venue and vacation home rental that is part of a working cattle farm. Built in 1890 in the Greek Revival Farmhouse style, it still sits in its original location today. Early in 2019, the restoration of the original Nathan Bryan Whitfield, Sr. home began with the vision to return the historic farm home to a public place for sharing its beauty, family history and its agricultural significance with the community and others.By 1890, Dr. Whitfield’s son, Nathan built The Cedars, naming it for a grove of cedar trees that grew between the home and the road, which is now U.S. Highway 80. In April of 2009, Alabama Governor, Bob Riley, and Commissioner of Agriculture, Ron Sparks, designated The Cedars as an Alabama Century Farm. Being recognized as a Century Farm means that the farm has been in operation as a family farm for over 100 years and has played a significant role in Alabama’s history.
