For Keeps Floral

4.5

  • Florist
  • Starts at $300
  • Serves Midvale, ID

I have always loved flowers and had a passion for creating beautiful things, and now I get to combine the two. For Keeps Floral specializes in sola wood flowers. The flowers are made of wood and won't wilt or die allowing you to have a lifetime of memories. We also love working with fresh and artificial florals.

For Keeps Floral was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. They were always responsive and communicated with us at each step of the process. Laci was so nice, friendly and helpful in bringing our "Rustic Patriotic" theme to life with their beautiful floral arrangements. The flowers were less expensive than real flowers but looked just as stunning, and they were photographed beautifully. The little care cards and stickers they included for our bridal party were such a thoughtful touch. We couldn't have been happier with the quality and value of For Keeps Floral's work - they truly nailed our theme. We highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

In the Summer of 2024 it was my great pleasure to officiate at the renewal of a young couple’s Wedding Vows at Rogue Ranch, New Meadows, Idaho. The service was very intimate with everyone enjoying the outdoors ambiance. The site is easily accessed from the nearby town of New Meadows. The panoramic view of the mountains surrounding the valley is one of nature’s best. A brand-new covered stage with a sound system was available. We opted to use the open deck overlooking a large pond and attendees were seated casually in a pleasant adjoining wooded and grassy area. As the officiant, I had the availability of a microphone for the service, but the intimacy of the site didn’t really require it.The party area was attractively lit in the evening by strings of tiny lights wrapped around the trees, giving a quite magical ambiance to the whole experience. After the formal service, caterers hired from local establishments, provided excellent food and drink. The evening was enhanced with a bonfire and seating on hay bales and benches while the band performed. A fascinating “Fire Sphere,” a large openwork steel globe, illuminated the area by lighting a campfire inside it. It was a very delightful way to end the day in the quiet of the evening, with darkness falling, and the lowing of cattle in the valley.

My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service. I found true passion in my work when I realized how important wedding videos are. I had already shot 100+ films before my wedding but realized as a consumer how valuable it is. I love what I do and finding intriguing/interesting ways to display those pieces is what keeps me creative and constantly making my films better.

He will capture your day and create a cinematic-quality video that will be breathtaking to watch. In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

My daughter’s wedding was last Friday and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered flowers a few weeks before the wedding and got our first box no problem. The second box with the rest of the order was coming from a different location and UPS made a mistake with our address. If made me so nervous and I thought we are not going to have time to put flowers together but luis stepped in and resolved this situation very professionally. We got our flowers the same day and I can’t thank him enough for acting quickly and being incredibly helpful all they way. All of the flowers that came in looked great. My friend getting married in a few month and I would highly recommend Moxie Flowers to him and everyone who is having a wedding or any other event. A!!!

🌹 WE ARE NOT FRESH FLOWER FLORISTS. WE WORK WITH WOOD & FAUX FLOWERS. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS IN YOUR REPLY. 🌹 Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Grace was just amazing. For a day that was overwhelming and very stressful, I cannot thank her enough for her calm and kindness. My now husband and I are usually not "photo people", as we tend to be more introverts than anything else, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Her professionalism and guidance during the shoot can be described as more than stellar. I will definitely recommend her to all of my friends who will be getting married soon. During all the chaos, I was extremely thankful to have chosen her as our photographer.

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

Brian's work is stunningly beautiful and perfectly executed. He was amazing to work with, from our first communication to the day we received our videos. He captured every perfect moment of our wedding in such a magical way. He had angles and shots of moments we didn't even realize he was recording. He customized our package and worked with us to create a priceless treasure for our family. His editing is superb, creative, romantic, endearing, and maintains a classic and timeless beauty we can look back and enjoy for years to come. I am all about making sure you’re 100% satisfied. I bring the music and all the equipment necessary to have the best wedding or rehearsal dinner or bachelorette party or engagement party. I like to DJ the music that’ll bring a crowd together and get them dancing. I do accept song requests and I always have my notebook ready for the guest to write down what they want to hear. Some past clients have said it is the most fun they’ve ever had & best night of their life’s when I DJ their event.

Awarded Best of Zola
Whitney is easy to work with, professional, and has fast communication. I hired her to DJ my reception and I had certain religious songs that I wanted her to play and she played them when requested with no problems. She even made announcements using her MC Hosting service like bride & groom’s first dance etc.

After our first call, I knew that I was going to hire Flower and Oak!! They made the process so easy and include everything that’s important up front instead of charging for a bunch of add ons. Having all the raw footage was also super important to us and they include it at no additional cost. I literally can’t help but cry every time I watch our highlight video!
