“I have known Lauren for the last two years and followed her photography for about 4 years. I saw a photo Lauren did with a bride and groom, and it was my “OMG” moment where I was like there is no else I want besides Lauren for my wedding. My husband and I did an engagement shoot with Lauren last summer, and the compliments we got from friends and family were like “woah deb these are absolutely beautiful”. Before our wedding, we did a mini shoot with Lauren to meet our dog Izzy, and let’s just say “wow”. I think she’s secretly a dog whisper because I have never seen Izzy pose so well in photos. Lauren made it feel so natural. She always told me I never have to do something I don’t want to do either. A few days before the wedding, I met with Lauren on the phone for a final talk before the big day. We went over everything together. I also felt comfortable telling her what I wanted and what I didn’t want. I also told Lauren-do what you do best and be you and I’ll follow! “tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.”

“I feel so passionately about recommending Sasha I don't even know where to begin! My fiancee and I, as well as several members of our wedding party, have not stopped talking about how great she was since our wedding a couple weeks ago. Sasha did our photos for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. When we started wedding planning, it was important to us to hire vendors who not only aligned with a product we wanted and our price range, but also who were kind, good people we'd want to spend our wedding day with. Some vendors fell short, but Sasha made up for it and then some. First of all, Sasha is EXTREMELY talented. She really captures your essence in her work and several people commented to me that they could "feel" our wedding and emotions through our photos. Her photos are not cheesy or contrived, which was something we knew we wanted when hiring a photographer, and her values aligned with what we were looking for. She is very talented at working with lighting in special and artistic ways. She will "yes and" every single one of your ideas and suggestions for your photos, and really listens to your requests and preferences. Beyond all of this, even if I hated the photos (which is far from the case, I love them so much), I would hire her again and again. Sasha was exactly the person I needed to be with to help ground and calm the energy of everything when it otherwise felt chaotic. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure, kind to every single person she meets, carries such a positive energy, and is a true professional at pivoting/troubleshooting when something goes wrong. She's also a quiet leader who will help keep your wedding running smoothly, pay attention to your timeline, etc. We had a giant wedding party and she somehow corralled people very quickly to get all the group shots we requested, so that I never had to think about it. On the wedding day, as others have said, she was somehow everywhere, but in the least obstructive way possible. I didn't even notice her during the reception or ceremony yet somehow she captured amazing pictures from lots of amazing angles. Leading up to the wedding, Sasha was a delight to work with. She was VERY responsive and willing to meet with us both over the phone and in person. She took the time to do a walk-through of our venue with us, which put me at ease to scope out where we'd take pictures. She even hopped on a Zoom call with us while on her vacation the week before our wedding. Last but not least, Sasha got us our engagement pictures AND our wedding gallery preview much faster than anticipated! If I sound slightly crazed in my obsession for Sasha, it's because I am lol. Sasha's beautiful spirit matches her the high level of talent and artistry in her work. This is your sign to hire her!”

“Meaghan and Evan photographed our Halloween wedding and we couldn't imagine having anyone else! We met Meaghan and Evan last October when they shot our engagement photos. They were more than willing to trudge through our favorite park and stop at all our favorite spots to get some beautiful photos we used for our save the date. We got to get to know them a little more over at our favorite little ramen restaurant after the session and of course we were instantly sold!
