Built in 1871, Cow Track Ranch sweeps from the floor of Nicasio Valley surrounded by rolling hills and trees. We were constantly discovering little finds, over 200 1880's old glass bottles buried on the grounds to the headline clad 1915 newspaper lined walls in the main house. It’s been part remodel and archeological dig. Now it’s ready to host events & make fresh memories for decades to come. A few years ago we were lucky enough to add 20+ acres of open meadow lands & forest contiguous to TKO for events & glamping and built an amphitheater by Indian Creek in the woods. Julia Morgan was a world renowned female architect who designed more than 700 buildings in California. She was the first woman admitted entrance to Beaux-Arts De Paris, the most prestigious architectural school in the world at the time and in 1904, Morgan became the first woman to obtain her architect license in California. In 1922 she did an extensive remodel of property, while concurrently working on Hearst Castle. This included adding the Conservatory, the present day Sky Suite, the Fireplace mantel in the Ballroom, and more. To preserve her legacy and beautiful additions, the Lewis' honored all of Morgan's original designs since restoring the home from 2016-2019.

The Club at Castlewood resides on the former estate of California's most beloved hostess, Phoebe Apperson Hearst. Her mansion, La Hacienda del Pozo de Verona was built in the 1890's, The mansion was designed by renowned architect Julia Morgan, the architect for the Hearst Castle at San Simeon. After her death in 1919, her son, William Randolph Hearst, maintained the property. In 1924, he sold it to a group of businessmen who turned it into a Country Club. Two Golf Courses were added, one on the hillside in 1926, and one in the valley in 1948. The Oakland Scottish Rite Center was completed in 1927, with over a thousand craftsmen working on the project. The construction cost was approximately $1.5 million. This was a sizeable sum at the time equivalent to about $22 million today. From ground breaking to completion the edifice was erected in just two years. This is the second temple in Oakland built from the ground up by the Scottish Rite Masonic fraternity since 1883, when it was first chartered in Oakland.

Our family farm was founded on the mission to serve the Sacramento region. Our goal is to promote healthy living through the disruption of inequitable food systems and the creation of a sustainable community garden that will provide free produce for families in need. We are a small family venture that has been dedicated to serving youth & families within the Sacramento community for the past 18 years. With a heart to serve others, we took a leap on this farm and now we would love to share our space with you. With over 12,000 sqft of outdoor space, our event space boast multiple ceremony locations, 3 lawns, an 1800 sqft covered space, and Oliver, our family bull who loves being a special guest at your wedding. Our event space also has some of the most amazing sunsets for you to enjoy.

Dalton Ranch is nestled in the Sierra Foothills surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. Located in the heart of the Sierra Foothills wine country, Dalton Ranch is an exclusive wedding venue that is unmatched in the region. The scenic grounds are set back in its own valley, surrounded by charming vineyards, striking oak trees, and historic structures. Our private wedding ceremony and reception venue is set to comfortably accommodate either an intimate gathering of 50 all the way up to a larger gala of 200 guests.

Originally called Cold Spring Ranch due to an ice cold spring. The Dorrington Hotel was built in 1852 by John Gardner who married Rebecca Dorrington and moved her out from Scotland. It served as a depot for stockmen and provided lodging for guests visiting the Giant Sequoias at Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Read more about our history and our permanent guest Rebecca below.

Guests will delight in discovering a pirate ship and dragons or taking a ride on the iconic Jolly Trolly train. The Chapel of Peace offers a picturesque backdrop for wedding and engagement photos.
