The Venue CU is an upscale urban wedding and event space located in the resurging east end of downtown Champaign, Illinois. We offer a wide range of event services, allowing you to create the event you desire in our modern, industrial setting. The Old Rugged Barn property is extremely versatile and the perfect location for your rustic wedding and reception. On the property, there is a large main barn with a 2000 sq ft main floor and a large loft overlooking the aisle and dance floor. In addition to this main building, a large enclosed pavilion and grain bin gazebo also sit on the property, with multiple pastures surrounding it for either parking purposes or use for event activities. Ceremonies can be held in any of the buildings, or outdoors, so the venue can accommodate and bring to life any of your rustic wedding dreams!

An area once reserved solely for the practical application of aging beers, and on occasion for private beer dinners, we opened up this space for guests to host private events such as ceremonies, receptions, showers & rehearsal dinners. Located within DESTIHL Brewery, the Barrel Room is where you’ll find something unique. Our modern-industrial space is perfect for the craft beer experience, a place where you’ll be greeted with our warm hospitality, and an experience unlike any other in Central Illinois.

At Lakeside, you will find many fun activities for you and your family to enjoy. Members and staff are friendly and it is easy to find a group to socialize and eat with or to round out your foursome on the golf course.

Originally designed by notable Bloomington-Normal architect George Miller and originally the home of the Odd Fellows organization, One Twenty Six has been lovingly restored and updated to create a modern event space that will leave your guests in awe. The venue has sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests, which makes it an ideal location for those looking for more than just a reception hall or banquet center. The venue features a full kitchen, seating area, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, 2 pull out couches, the ballroom, and lounge/billiard room where there's plenty of room for mingling with your guests after dinner! There's also a bar area where you can enjoy drinks before or after dinner if desired!

Vrooman Mansion in Bloomington, Illinois can accommodate up to 75 seated guests for a more intimate ceremony and/or reception that is indoor or outdoor. Be amazed by the historic details of the mansion built in 1869, with it's beautiful sweeping staircase, stained glass windows, as well as the modern amenities you'd expect. Consider reserving our 7 rooms and suites for overnight accommodations for the wedding party before the event to relax onsite with confidence, and after the event to wind down. Our suites also provide ideal changing areas for the wedding party and capturing moments with your photographer. Our Carriage House is a luxurious choice for a honeymoon cottage that keeps you on property, yet privately tucked away when you want to be. We provide custom packages and choices: mimosa bars, cocktail receptions, family-style buffet, or plated formal dinners. The acoustics in the Main House will gently amplify our own piano or other acoustic musicians.

The mission of the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts is to create an environment where all forms of artistic expression are appreciated, encouraged, and seen as a contribution to the quality of life in our community. Built-in 1921 as a home for the American Passion Play, the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA), then known as Bloomington's Scottish Rite Temple, boasted an elegant lobby fronted by a graceful five-arched façade, a ballroom that could seat 1,000 diners and a 1,320-seat theatre that featured the largest stage west of New York. In 2000, The City of Bloomington formed the Bloomington Cultural District to assume ownership of the Consistory and surrounding properties to shepherd it through a restoration.

The Willowhaven Nature Park is a restored 1900's barn that transforms into a spectacular location to host graduation parties, small weddings, bridal or baby showers, family gatherings, or business retreat. Large room with tables and chairs is available at limited times and the facility can accommodate up to 95 guests*. Alcohol is permitted with proper permit and additional fees. Willowhaven park also has outdoor rentals available at our amphitheater, gardens and picnic pavilion.

Crooked Creek Whitetails Estate is an elegant & rustic venue tucked away in the beauty of nature. Owners Randy and Kelli Marsh started Crooked Creek Whitetails, LLC in 2011 as a whitetail hunting preserve. The Majestic theatre is one of the largest Vaudeville theatre’s in Chicago-land and oldest in the United States, will re-open in late 2010 as a multi-purpose venue. The theatre featuring a/an full stage, 20-foot screen, art deco grand style second & third floor balconies, and rear walking museum will seat 500. The theatre being equipped with hi-end technology capabilities will not only host Wedding ceremonies, receptions, concerts, fashion shows, business seminars, pageants and proms but just about any venue the mind could develop. Full catering and bar are also available.

We are a former Masonic Temple built in 1906 that has been updated in a fun and modern way while still keeping all the history and character of the original building.
