Our venue is a working cider apple farm and distillery with an orchard, greenhouse, vegetable & flower gardens, a flock of 50 exotic chickens, Sebastopol geese, Soay sheep and two super sweet Chihuahuas named Isabella and Mela. Our barn was built in the late 1870's. It has been renovated over the last few years to be the perfect space for up to 130 guests. We got married in our barn and had 80 of our closest friends and family for the event. It’s the ideal venue for these smaller weddings.

Ira Gutner packed his bags, left a successful career in New York City’s Garment District and moved upstate to open Samuel’s of Rhinebeck, a boutique candy and coffee shop in the heart of bucolic Dutchess County. Ira named his shop after his late Uncle Sam who introduced him as a boy to penny candy. I began working for Ira as a 15-year-old after school and diligently worked my way up to store manager.
