“We cannot express enough praise and gratitude for Mitch! We had the privilege of working with him for our wedding on 7/6/24. From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. He also communicated with our other vendors on the day of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page! When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony. All of our guests absolutely loved it and it brought a really special feel to the ceremony. On top of that, the energy he brings to MCing got our guests super excited and involved! I could not believe how many services were available from the same company. How neat is that?! Since we did already hire an officiant we did not need that service but would otherwise have taken full advantage. We did, however, utilize the day of coordinator along with the DJ and Photo Booth. I loved utilizing all three services with one main person to coordinate with; it made it easier and much less emails to write. Not only does Carter Events offer many services but they are top notch too! The communication was prompt and clear, and any questions I had in this unfamiliar territory were answered with an eagerness to help. Carter Events sincerely cares about your big day and will help ease the process in any way. My sister also utilized Carter Events for her wedding and I’d recommend to anyone planning their big day. She took the time to learn the song to ensure our wedding day tracked our expectations, and she did a fantastic job to boot! From start to finish, Erica operated like a well oiled machine. She knows how to fit into your wedding timeline and who to coordinate with to ensure a smooth process — she takes this burden off your plate. For example, Erica reached out to us when she knew it was time to start discussing our music and she took the initiative to reach out to our wedding planner to coordinate everything from when she sings, the audio set up, etc. I didn't have to double check or follow up with her once, and the day went flawlessly. Lastly, and again, most importantly, Erica is an amazing singer and musician. She can sing everything from upbeat classics to the slow song you select for your first dance. Many of our guests raved about Erica and the class and charm she brought to our day. Her voice, guitar skills, and presence is of high quality, and she was a huge value add to our wedding day. “I am a photographer and Dennis is on the top of my list of recommendations! Not only is he a joy to work with and be around, he's extremely professional and literally loves doing this job. ALL my couples love Dennis, always happy to help and step in even when it's not his job. We had a wedding together earlier this year and the seating chart was printed wrong and he stepped in and took it upon himself to call off the list and guide each guest to their correct table.
