My husband and I got married this past September at the Omni Grove Park Inn, and they require a wedding planner. At the time I didn’t realize just how invaluable a wedding planner was. I started looking around for Asheville planners, and came across The Planning. After reading a bunch of amazing reviews and reaching out for a quote, we chose them. We decided to do the month out package as that fit our needs, and we were so blessed to be given Kylie as our main wedding planner and correspondent. Like most brides, although super excited, I was also feeling very overwhelmed and experienced a lot of anxiety leading up to the wedding, especially since we were planning a wedding in another city (we’re from Nashville). From our first phone call with Kylie, she eased my fears and made me feel relaxed and even more excited about our wedding than I originally had been. I completely trusted her. I looked forward to our weekly phone calls starting the month before the wedding, not just because we were getting more things in order, but because I genuinely loved talking to her as well. My parents, who honestly were both skeptical about the need for a wedding planner, were quickly won over and at the end of wedding weekend were wondering how they ever thought it was possible to go without one. Because our venue was a pretty large one and because we had about 135 guests we needed an extra planner, so we ended up having the help of both Kylie and Autumn (who was also incredible) wedding weekend. They were there for our rehearsal the day before the wedding, and all day/night on the day of the wedding right up until we got in our getaway car, and I don’t know what we would have done without them. They helped us figure out the layout of the ceremony, helped everyone understand when to walk, etc, kept track of all of my belongings, kept us on a timeline for the day and night (which was very important for a big group like ours), coordinated with all of our other vendors, helped me make decisions I hadn’t even realized I needed to make, and so much more. Kylie and Autumn were both so kind, organized, level headed, and just fun to be around. They were both so professional and knew when to get down to business, but being around them still felt like being around good friends. Everyone loved them. Both of our families are very large so as you can imagine there was a LOT going on - many different personalities, many opportunities for us all to get distracted - and they handled all of the chaos so well and took everything in stride. Any issues we ran into they quickly and carefully handled. Also, once I got to the altar and we were in the middle of saying our vows, I realized I had left my engagement ring in a public bathroom on the floor we got ready in while I was fixing my dress…after the ceremony Kylie sprinted upstairs and found my ring and quickly became a hero to both my husband and I haha. All of this to say, we could not have had our beautiful wedding weekend without the help of Kylie, Autumn, and The Planning. We could not have had better wedding planners and wouldn’t do anything differently. If you don’t think you need a wedding planner, I can assure you that you probably do, and if you are thinking about hiring them, you should!! The Planning is an amazing business. We wish we could do it all over just so we could hang out with everyone again!

The two separate buildings, "The Grove" Events space and Listening room, and the Trailside Brewing and Tasting Room, offer diverse options for events of different sizes and styles. Our large beer garden adds a cozy and inviting touch, creating a comfortable atmosphere for guests to socialize. With ample free parking spaces, large bathrooms, and a short hike to downtown Hendersonville, Trailside Brewery seems to prioritize guest convenience and accessibility. The Grove venue in Hendersonville is both modern and historically beautiful at the same time. So much care has been taken to preserve the worn patina of the walls and original brick while creating a warm, modern setting, and the big windows bring in so much natural light. This venue is a blank slate and lends to any design aesthetic, and works well for all seasons. It’s really a must see!

We decided to do a videographer last minute and looked on the Knot for suggestions for a vendor that serviced St. Augustine, FL and Tyler’s name popped up. We contacted him and he got back to us right away. His prices in comparison to other in the industry were unbeatable. We got great quality, awesome communication leading up to the day, and he discussed anything we had questions about down to copyright laws. Tyler is a professional and truly kind person to have there on your day! We love our raw footage of the day as well as our shorter condensed movie that I’ve watched now at least a couple dozen times. He went over and beyond during the day. When he wasn’t filming he was helping my photographer to fix my dress train or he grabbed a drink from my husbands hand to hold for him just to take a photo. It’s just the small stuff that really stands out and he captured our day perfectly. Thank you Tyler!
