“Lippincott Manor is truly the most amazing wedding venue. My mother and I went to tour the venue a year before our wedding date. Right away we were impressed. From the beautiful property that you drive up to and then meeting Tricia and Marty, we were sold. Tricia and Marty are the most kindest, generous, down to earth people we have ever met. My husband and I planned our wedding at Lippincott Manor for August 15, 2020 with roughly 120 guests attending. When COVID hit, Tricia and Marty continuously kept us informed with the plans. Unfortunately, only 9 days before our wedding, new county restrictions went into effect and Tricia informed me immediately- limiting our 120 guest list to 50 and under, etc. Within a day, Tricia and I postponed the large reception to next year and planned to have the original wedding ceremony at the venue with less than 50 people on the original date (August 15, 2020). I was truly heartbroken but Tricia was the best thing that happened to me during that time. She was so accommodating, answered ALL of my questions I had, and most importantly, she eased my mind by planning the WHOLE mini ceremony and made sure I had everything I needed for the day. She was so calming and reassuring during such a chaotic time. I’m truly thankful for her. Our wedding day was truly the most AMAZING day of my life. It was perfect- from the beautiful weather we had, to the beautiful property that we got married on, and the support we had from Tricia and Marty. I wouldn’t change it for anything. “My wife and I met and got engaged in the Catskill Mountains, so it was so important to us that we also got married there. We found Spillian from an online search, and my wife was instantly drawn to the place; I was skeptical. But after touring it for the first time and meeting the owners - Mark and Leigh - it was apparent this was the only place we would want to get married. At Spillian there are no rules, and intentionality is the driving force behind every decision. From the food, to the people, to the actual wedding day, if you can dream it they can accommodate it. We wanted to do our rehearsal dinner there, and they asked us what we wanted for food. I tentatively proposed a build-your-own Bahn Mi bar and Mark wrote back a delicious, detailed menu, complete with boba tea. The food was excellent, and the fact that they have some rooms for you and some guests to stay on site made it even more special. We elected to have our bridal party there and it was so nice to be able to spend some time with them before and after the wedding. We came with all of our own decorations, and our flowers were dropped off the night before, and we were nervous about getting everything set up that day. But Alex and Sam, our day-of coordinators, took care of everything and make it look even better than we had ever imagined. And when it came to the day of, we were so overwhelmed that it was hard to make snap decisions. Sam and Alex were so patient with us, and really helped guide us through the day. I can't sing their praises enough but will publicly thank them here for allowing us to have the wedding of our dreams.”
