As a young child, like many children, I picked dandelion and other "weed" bouquets for my mom. Making wishes and blowing the dandelion seeds was also a favorite pastime. I drew flowers all over everything, and since I was a kid with little talent in drawing, I became quite proud of my flowers.

A.H.R. florals is the love child of Arturo H. Ramirez, born & raised San Diegan and lifelong creator. Growing up picking massive french hydrangea from his Tita's garden and pretending to walk down the aisle wasn't for nothing. With a background in fashion design and a career in creative direction, Arturo was led to his own venture in floral design. What started as a helping hand for family weddings and parties turned into a passion that led to full floral installations and event design. Arturo takes pride in his ability to create a comfortable, fun environment and makes sure you receive your goods with a smile and a laugh.

I have always been drawn to the power of beautiful spaces to inspire and draw people together. Building floral arrangements has become my avenue to facilitate this connection amongst dinner guests and strangers.

Sophia is the creative force behind Botanical Preserves. Raised in an artistic household, she’s worked with multiple mediums over the years, with five years of experience in floral design. Having a fascination with the realm of plants and their healing powers, Sophia surrounds herself with botanicals and their many elements. The concept of floral design as a living, restorative, art form gave her a deep respect for flowers and their unique personality. Their nature of fragility adds to their elusiveness, and gives her the opportunity to exhibit the never-to-be-replicated side of her personality every time she works with floral product.

Scarborough Affair, was founded by the talented floral designer Laura Ellen in the Summer of 2019 in San Francisco, CA. In 2020 Laura moved her business to Dallas, Tx. During her stay, Laura was privileged to work with some of the top Interior Designers in the Country and was the exclusive florist for Carbone/Vino Dallas. My name is Rachel and I am the lead floral designer of Velvet Blooms. After studying music with an emphasis in vocals, I began to rethink what my creative path would be. With mentors such as Laura Williams of Poppy Hill Flowers and good friend Kelsea Olivia Gaynor of East Olivia, I began my journey into floral design and never looked back!

We focus on naturalistic and organic inspired floral art. During the consultation process, we discuss your vision and give design suggestions if needed. It takes a load off your shoulders to know someone is going to completely capture the vibe of your event with flowers!
