Built in 1906 by John. F. Wheeler, owner of the Wheeler Lumber Yard on Main Street in Ball Ground, the house was constructed with Heart Pine tongue and grove floors, walls, ceilings, and wrap-around porches. The Wheeler House is a historic gem that has been given new life by serving as a wedding venue and special event site.

“From the second we walked on the property, we knew this was our venue. The house and barn were so perfect and the overall essence of the everything is so beautiful. It was stunning and sophisticated all in one. The package included the cake, catering, the DJ, linens, and settings which took all of the stress out in the planning. The staff was incredible! Everyone, especially Laiken, was so wonderful to work with and the level of professionalism was so refreshing. Even though this is their business, they still understand that it is a special day and they do everything they can to make your visions come to life. I cannot recommend The Wheeler House enough.”
