Construction on Mistletoe Bough began in 1890 but wasn't completed until 1895. The town banker had the vision to build the grandest home in Alexander City. Soirée Event Gallery is a modern wedding venue located in Birmingham, Alabama. The venue offers a versatile and luxurious ambiance with its classic ballrooms that can make each couple’s wedding day special. Soirée can accommodate up to 550 guests, with its two indoor event spaces: the Grand Ballroom, which features artworks by local artists, a marble entrance, crystal chandeliers, and ebony hardwood floors; and the Royal Ballroom, with polished walls and recessed lighting, great for a classic event space. Soirée hosts wedding events such as ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. Couples can choose from a list of preferred caterers, and Soirée offers bartenders who can serve at an open, capped or cash bar, with house beer, wine, and liquor options, or specialty/premium options available upon request.
