My jaw literally dropped when she showed me the picture of the back of my hairstyle. She also saved the day when I got a floral piece for my mother that had a white ribbon that needed to be concealed and Erica masterfully covered it up so that mom did end up wearing it on the day. My girls loved their hair and makeup too. The artists did fantastic with mature skin. And guests were stunned with how gorgeous everyone looked. I know a thing or two about makeup and Jessica is very much in the know about certain products, techniques, and trendy looks. From hydrogrip primers to ABH palettes, she knows her stuff. Also, one of my bridesmaids is a hair dresser and she was also very impressed. In fact, one bridesmaid had really short hair and Marissa nailed it somehow! Working with the length and creating a gorgeous look. She also pulled out that Fenty bronzer because she ain’t playinnn. “Laura and I met through a styled wedding collaboration (she was the hair/makeup artist and I was the baker) a few months before my September wedding. I remember thinking "wow, if I didn't already have makeup services booked, I would definitely book Laura." So when my original makeup artist cancelled on me due to COVID-19, I immediately messaged Laura of Dumont Styles. I am so grateful she was available and willing to travel about 1.5 hours away. I honestly feel she was meant to do my makeup for my special day, along with a few of my closest family member's makeup. I am fair skinned with freckles/red hair and requested a natural, but glam look--Laura NAILED IT! Laura is very professional (followed all COVID guidelines to keep us all safe) and also extremely prepared! Even though she was only booked for makeup services, Laura brought some hair stuff as well. This was super appreciated, especially when my mom's updo and my curls fell out!! Laura's skills and curling iron to the rescue! We still joke around that Laura single handedly saved the day! First, getting my makeup done for my engagement photos with her was so fun, we talked the entire time and it was such an enjoyable experience. I have a darker complexion and she didn’t even hesitate to pull out products that matched my skin perfectly. She used warm tones without me mentioning I like warmer tones on my skin.
