I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Grace was a pleasure to work with during the wedding planning process. She was timely in her responses and upfront with pricing. On the day of the wedding, it felt like we were herding cats, but she remained professional and efficient. Even though we were running behind schedule with getting dressed, she managed to squeeze in a few dress shots and some first look photos. Grace remained patient even as some of our friends and family showed up late for photos! As we moved between locations, she made sure I was holding my dress in a way so that I wouldn’t fall on my face. She also helped my MOH bustle my dress after the ceremony (again, so I wouldn’t fall on my face). Grace was always cognizant of the lighting on location, and how it would affect photos. Her assistant, Joey, was lovely and accommodating as well. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Hi there! I’m Emma CotéEwers, your East Coast & Destination Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer! My work is a seamless blend of traditional heirloom portraiture, lively artistic shots, and a little photojournalism if the day calls for it. With a true-to-color, film-inspired approach, I strive to craft visuals that capture love, laughter, and those beautifully authentic moments that weave together the story of your wedding! I feel like these should include fun facts? Patsy Cline’s Walkin’ After Midnight is my favorite song and I am currently on my 8th nostalgic binge of Gilmore Girls (which might just be fueling my banter lately).

We had the pleasure of working with Emma for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, bridal shower and our rehearsal dinner. We couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Emma was incredibly professional, attentive, and truly passionate about capturing the essence of our love story. For our engagement session, she made us feel completely at ease and guided us with such a gentle touch, making the experience fun and natural. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, capturing the joy, excitement, and deep connection we share. When it came time for my bridal portraits, Emma exceeded all expectations. She understood how important these photos were to me, especially since I was wearing my late grandmother’s ring, which holds immense sentimental value. Emma managed to capture not only the beauty of the dress and the setting but also the emotions and memories tied to this moment. She has an incredible eye for detail and lighting, and the photos are a perfect blend of candid and posed shots that reflect our personalities and relationship beautifully. The final images are more than just pictures; they are timeless keepsakes that we will cherish forever. If you're looking for a photographer who is talented, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in telling your story through photos, look no further than Emma. We can't recommend her enough! Thank you, Emma, for capturing these special moments that we'll treasure for a lifetime!

Alyssa Marie Photography

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to create. My passion for photography started when I was a teen. As I honed in on my craft I began to photograph on a more professional level right out of high school, but stepped away for academic pursuits. After completing both a bachelors and master's degree in Anthropology, I came full circle, determining that a career in doing something creative was where my heart lies. Whether it is your wedding, or any other special moment in your life, I cherish the opportunity to document it in a way that highlights the artistic elements, while still capturing an authenticness that is uniquely you.

Awarded Best of Zola
Alyssa Marie Photography was a fantastic choice for our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent - they were always prompt in responding to our questions and followed up to ensure we were on the same page. On the day of the wedding, Alyssa was a pleasure to work with, guiding us into the perfect poses and capturing beautiful, natural shots that truly reflected the joy of our special day. The final photos were of incredible quality, with beautiful editing that made every moment shine. Alyssa and her team were thorough in getting all the shots we requested, and we couldn't be happier with the beautiful memories they've preserved for us. We highly recommend Alyssa Marie Photography to any couple looking for an experienced, talented, and personable wedding photographer.

We are first and foremost parents to our fur babies, and they are what we live for! We capture your day as it naturally unfolds through our creative eye!

Lauren and Brad are phenomenal! We hired them for our engagement, wedding, and separate reception photos. Hey hey 👋, I’m LaDonna. Wedding photographer & videographer with a passion for celebrating the love stories of couples from all walks of life. Growing up in the suburbs of Boston and attending undergrad in Connecticut, I’m a true New England gal. Winter holds a special place in my heart, as I embrace the beauty and charm of every location I photograph. I’m always delighted to travel wherever your love story takes you—even an Aspen winter elopement. That would honestly make my heart smile! 😊 My mission: create timeless, heirloom-quality artwork that reflects the unique connection & individuality of each couple I have the honor to serve.

Awarded Best of Zola
I’m typically shy and not very photogenic, so I was extremely anxious about how our wedding photos would turn out. But after finding LaDonna through a Facebook ad, I immediately knew I wouldn’t have to worry if she was our photographer. She took the time to understand me and helped me find my confidence in front of the camera. By the wedding day, I felt completely at ease and able to focus on the moment with my husband rather than my insecurities in my head. LaDonna and the LT² team captured everything beautifully, balancing candid moments with fine art shots that truly tell our story. The photos are so authentic, and I’ll cherish these memories forever, along with the confidence I gained. Thank you, LaDonna, for an unforgettable experience! 3 7.27.24

Melissa Blythe Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Lydia, SC

I am a fine art photographer based in Palm Beach & North Carolina. I embrace using both film and digital mediums in my wedding photography approach to achieve our signature look, which is timeless, elegant, utterly romantic with a dash of editorial. Whether it be a beach, a. mountaintop, or on a family farm, outdoor weddings with an abundance of natural light will always be a favorite to photograph.

I’m not even sure where to begin with Melissa Blythe Photography! Ricardo and I hired Melissa as our micro wedding photographer for June of 2020, which then turned into October 2020. The year threw quite a few twists and turns at us from venue changes to date changes, yet Melissa stayed patiently by our side. For that we will forever be grateful. Melissa was always so kind through the entire process, she was quick to respond and made sure I felt at ease she would be there through the thick and thin. She is very organized and prompt. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early, she took time to scope out the area and prepare for our special day. She captured the most genuine moments of our micro wedding and during the ceremony, she was extremely respectful and not distracting. She was honestly just a joy to have around the entire day, it’s almost as if she brought calmness to the entire party, in fact she did. Now let’s talk after the wedding, it didn’t end there...we received our wedding photographs on our honeymoon. Yup, you heard me...on our honeymoon!!!!! This was just the icing on the cake. Now, given we had a micro wedding and this may not be the case for every wedding, It was such a sweet and special moment for us to receive our gallery so quickly. It was an extremely special surprise! Melissa, also was able to get our wedding and her timeless, elegant photographs featured on Bajan Wedding Blog. She truly cares about her art, her passion and her clients. It was a pleasure to have her photograph our wedding and we will treasure these images forever.

Lindsay and Nathan are an incredible team. From booking them two years ago, doing our engagement session, and now having gotten sneak peaks back from our wedding that was just 2 days ago, I’m completely blown away by how incredible they have been! Lindsay is a complete pro. Group photos flew by because she was so great at directing and wrangling everyone. I had multiple people comment on how she was EVERYWHERE non-stop at our wedding, doing an amazing job the whole time! I just know she got every picture I wanted and more, and with how gorgeous our sneak peaks turned out I know I’ll absolutely love them! She and Nathan were so on top of everything, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Not only that, she truly went above and beyond helping to safety pin a rip in my dress. The day was a whirlwind but Lindsay and Nathan made it so easy! I would hire them a million times over!

We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. I couldn't be happier with our experience with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a real artist for their wedding photography.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.
