I can give her an idea on paper, and they bring it to life effortlessly. They offer options that are accessible for all budgets, which is something I deeply appreciate. In a world where the economy is uncertain and many people face financial challenges, not everyone can or wants to spend an excessive amount on a wedding. Some can, but others simply can’t. And they understand that. Lana guides you on where you can save and where you shouldn’t cut corners because sometimes trying to save money in the wrong place can lead to bigger issues or regrets later. One of the things I value the most is that when I struggle to express an idea, Lana helps me put it into words. She listens, she cares, and she works with love. When we went to see the venue, she and her husband drove two hours each way-with their baby. And not only that, but they also spent another two hours in the meeting, carefully helping me refine my ideas and bringing my vision to life, making sure every detail is thoughtfully considered. She and her husband make an amazing team, complementing each other perfectly in their work. And as I said, I haven’t even walked down the aisle yet, but I already know I am in the best hands. I trust them, and I know everything will turn out beautifully. I wanted to leave this review as a testament to everything they’ve done before the big day. They have made what could have been a stressful process so much easier, lifting so much weight off my shoulders and allowing me to truly enjoy this journey. “Kari and Pat Frey Designs curated, organized and designed my wedding last autumn at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. It was “enchanted forest amongst the dinosaurs” themed and had little nods to timeless films like Harry Potter, Edward Scissorhands, Jurassic Park, etc. Imagine a client telling you they want all that along with a tight budget and having to deal with very particular museum restrictions! Well, let me tell you... this team went above and beyond to accomplish this eccentric bride’s dream wedding!! Take it from me, weddings can be super overwhelming for a bride. Like decisions of what color napkins look good on the sweetheart table to how they coordinate with the linens on the cocktail tables, to making sure all the build staff are on the same page behind the scenes, to paperwork and communicating with all the dozens of vendors. I could not imagine doing this by myself! My head would have exploded! Not only was the design and organizing aspect completely handled and managed by the team, Kari was my personal therapist through months of planning and dealing with typical wedding pressures. Kari is a powerful force who gets the job done. She will let you cry on her shoulder and she will step up for you if you need someone who can grab ‘em by the balls!
