    This was by far my most frustrating vendor for my wedding and the only negative that we had on our day. First the communication was really difficult with both my sister and I trying for months to get a link to pay for the flowers. When I would get a hold of Alexis she would say she would send me the link then did not. She kept apologizing and ensuring me that she would send me the information by a certain time then missed the timeline she gave. It got to a point that almost a week before the wedding I was panicking with my day of coordinator worried I wouldn't have flowers for my wedding day. In addition to the communication, I was incredibly disappointed in the flowers received for my wedding. When I first got in touch with 17th & Sage I was working with Vanessa and she and I talked through what my inspo and vision was. I told her I didn't want hydrangeas in my bouquet and she assured me that they could find other light blue flowers to pull in my color scheme. Fast forward, when I wasn't able to get a hold of Alexis, I tried calling Vanessa who informed me she was no longer working for the company. Day of the wedding, the delivery person brought significantly fewer stems I had asked for to decorate my cake. She did end up going back and bringing more flowers but it added unnecessary stress to my wedding day. Most frustrating however was the quality of the flowers I received. Multiple bridesmaid bouquets had wilted flowers and my specific bouquet had hydrangeas despite my specific request not to have them. My bouquet was wilted and in terrible condition by the end of my ceremony and all the boutonnieres werre wilted by the time we did photos. Overall, frustrating and disappointing experience all around. I highly DO NOT recommend this vendor.

    We hired 17th & Sage for Day of Coordination and florals and worked directly with Alexis. Day of coordination was perfect for us since we already had a pretty clear vision for what we wanted the decor to be and look like, we just needed someone to implement it day of and Alexis and her team did just that! They do not offer previews for the flowers if you’re doing floral but trust that they are experienced, my flowers and bouquet were absolutely beautiful and just in line with my colors! Alexis and I weren’t communicating on a weekly basis which makes sense since I hired her for just day of, but we did chat just enough to get a good grasp of what needed to be done. She met with me for the first time three months out and then a second time like 2 weeks before the day. Alexis was very patient and kind throughout the day especially when we had to make last minute changes but everything still worked out great and our wedding day was perfect. Thank you Alexis and team!!

    Do not hesitate to book 17th and sage!! Vanessa was AMAZING!!! She stayed in contact throughout the planning process and did not hesitate to help me through the many changes we made for our flower plans! When I walked into our venue after Vanessa set up our florals and centerpieces, I was brought to tears! They did such a beautiful job! BOOK THEM!!!
