The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to the couple as well as the vendors. The ROOF also has an amazing view and was super fun to walk through and take photos. We had our wedding at the Wimbish House in April of 2024 and it was the most spectacular day of our lives! The venue itself is so lovely and well located in the city (near plenty of activity of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment for guests within walking distance) and does not require a lot of work to make it beautiful (the ballroom and parlors are exquisite). Karin was our wedding coordinator and she made the entire process easy and stress-free. She helped us with everything and made sure nothing slipped by during the planning. The staff is all incredible and they have such great connections with other vendors (every vendor we hired said they already had such great memories of events they worked at Wimbish and I can see why!). You cannot go wrong booking this venue!

For years, the space was used to host congregations until 2003 when it was converted into an event hall. In 2020, the building was purchased and renovated to upgrade with latest amenities to add to its one of a kind character, while keeping original part of the building structure. The venue offers two distinct spaces for your event needs along with Grand Chandelier in Hall and 4k Projection Mapping!

The West Venue was perfect for our special day. With a luxurious space there were little needs for decor .! Open communication leading up to the special day. We were lucky to have booked such an amazing venue.!

Our wedding at The Carmichael House, May 4, 2024, was absolutely beautiful. The owner/coordinator Paige was incredible!! Her hospitality made me and my wedding party feel so welcome, she was so accommodating while also allowing us all the space and time we needed to enjoy ourselves. There was also a space for my husband and his friends to enjoy themselves as well and he said they truly enjoyed themselves. While searching for a venue, what set Paige apart from other venues I visited was that she was so personable, and I didn't feel like I was just another business transaction. We talked back and forth for a year during the planning process, and she always responded in a timely manner, especially the last few weeks of planning, I was bothering her late into the night, but she was responding immediately. She kept the wedding on track and on time. I would highly recommend The Carmichael House as a top-notch wedding venue if you're in the market for a wedding venue you definitely won't be disappointed.

Couples really love all the outdoor space at our venue. Guests are invited to enjoy the space as well as photographers to take pictures in so many areas of the venue. We also have a B and B in the mansion and have a package that includes an overnight for the Bride and Groom as well as 2 guests with breakfast! This package comes with professional planning and coordinating as well as our in house decor package. We also have throne chairs, loungers and other decor that can be rented for the big day! We offer in house catering as well as a DJ. We have two lovely outside wedding sites as well as a ballroom to hold up to 200…and if you have more guests we can rent tents! Absolutely fell in love with this space! It is so large and is a pretty canvas to decorate to your taste with florals etc or can leave alone and still be beautiful. I especially loved how big it was so we didn’t need to flip any rooms. Audrey was great and easy to communicate with on questions with me and the vendors. The day of staff was super on top of everything and great to work with. We used the onsite catering which was so delicious!

We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. I would highly recommend The Chapel on Sycamore as an excellent wedding/event venue with lovely and helpful staff. The pictures included are by OliviaRosePhotography.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

We had the most beautiful wedding (ceremony on fountain side of swan house, cocktail hour on columns side of swan house, and reception in the overlook ballroom). We worked with Steven who was so helpful in advising us - especially as we worked to stay in budget in the last few weeks leading up to the wedding.
