The catalyst which caused me to make this career shift was a cancer diagnosis in 2008. Having cancer causes you to reevaluate a lot of things about how you spend the time you have left in this world. And I wanted to spend whatever time I have left here doing something meaningful. And what could be more meaningful than weddings?
