From the moment I reached out to Rio Hondo by Wedgewood Weddings, their communication was fast and responsive. They always said "yes" to my ideas, making the planning process incredibly easy. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with ample space and stunning rose bushes that elevated the ceremony area. David, the wedding coordinator, was an absolute gem - he truly made my vision come to life and made me feel like a queen on my wedding day. We had the most wonderful tiny wedding in the East Room and the patio! My fiancé and I were looking for a venue that felt intimate, but that was in Downtown LA and had a private outdoor space, and the East Room met our criteria. We had a small 8-person luncheon, and it was exactly the experience we wanted: wonderful food and truly amazing service. The room itself was gorgeous, with really beautiful tile floors and a long counter. The patio was also very picturesque with views of DTLA, and we had a bar outside as well. We ran slightly late because of photos/congratulations from family, and the Redbird team was incredibly understanding and we never felt rushed. The meal was also coursed perfectly and everyone loved all of the food served. The events team at Redbird was also great to work with in the planning stages. I had originally planned to keep our ceremony/lunch VERY simple (i.e. wasn’t even planning flowers), and the Redbird team went above and beyond to help me find the perfect flower arrangements and even made a tiny cake to cut. They were easy to work with and super responsive to calls/emails, and were great about follow-ups. I would highly recommend Redbird - and the East Room - for smaller weddings. We had such a wonderful ceremony, and the Redbird team really helped us look beyond our original vision to something even better. Thank you so much!

I chose the scenic rooftop of the Hilton Checkers as the spot to propose to my girlfriend because of our shared love for city landscapes and spending our weekends exploring the city. The hotel provides many amazing photo spots from the entrance of the hotel to the main staircase to the elevators and most importantly the rooftop view of the city which all gives a stunning historic look at the city of Los Angeles. It was an amazing experience working with the hotel as well. Sandra the sales manager at the hotel made it a breeze to book and coordinate the event with my florist and photographer. The hotel staff was also super helpful with helping me hold onto the roses to pick up on a later day and helping me load them all into my vehicle. The overall experience exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't change a thing!

What a memorable night! Well executed, shocking, funny, creepy and easy to get engulfed. The actors did a spectatular job and the venue is everything I wanted from head to toe. They adjust according to your needs and work off based on different personalities from your guests. The lighting, the music, the mood. They accomodated my needs and kept in contact with me through the planning process. They handled ultimately everything and made my night very special. The photobooth was such a special touch and guests could send gifs/images to themselves. They provide parking for hosts but parking around can be challening but not impossible since there are metered parking all around! It can be a little challenging to find since the outside is black and discrete. It really goes with the theme perfectly. I highly recommend!

Never in a million years did I think I’d be able to get married at a venue like this. The Ebell is the sort of thing you only see in movies (and that’s because it’s in all the movies!). You can see for yourself how breathtaking this space is, but what you can’t see from a website or an Instagram page is how equally incredible its staff are. Working with the Ebell was an absolute joy, every single person we interacted with was professional, kind, funny, and most importantly, cared so deeply about our special day. I’d be remiss not to mention our coordinator, Katie, who I could not extend enough gratitude to if I tried. If location and people weren’t enough, our food and drinks were actually insane. Two months after our wedding, we are still getting compliments on the food. Finally, the banquet staff, the real stars of the day itself, were remarkable. Such professionalism and poise that you could only expect from a place that looks like the Ebell. Truly an absolutely incredible experience, a dream come true.

We got married at Albertson chapel in March of 2023 and it was the best experience we could have hoped for! I wanted an intimate, local ceremony that was budget-friendly but I did not want to sacrifice style and good service. Albertson provided just that, with a ceremony/license/photo package that was perfect for us.
