Iris Aisle is a Victorian greenhouse that sits amongst our cedar grove in Madison County, Iowa. We built Iris Aisle ourselves, around the idea of creating a sanctuary where nature lovers could come to feel at home and be surrounded by medicinal plants and herbs and all of nature’s wonder, inside and out. Simplicity is our goal here, so we only host events of 75 or fewer people. We knew we wanted this place to be geared toward smaller weddings, because there is no other place in Iowa that does. So many venues want to go big or go home, but that’s not us. Instead, we want to shift the mindset of what this day is truly about, how true connection with those you love the most is deeply important.

Conveniently located in Winterset, Iowa we are a premier event venue with 5,760 square feet of space and room to seat up to 250 guests. Situated on 4.65 acres in the heart of Madison County. Our rustic facility is the perfect choice for barn weddings near Des Moines. Our property is also just 19 minutes away from Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. Our venue features a large, welcoming fireplace, exposed knotty pine hardwood, rustic beams, corrugated steel, and incandescent lighting that casts a warm, inviting glow. We welcome our guests to bring in the vendors of their choice. A catering room, accommodations for a band/DJ, and a bride and groom lounge are all available. We also have tables and chairs for your convenience, and shuttle service to and from certain local hotels.
